Mag-MateK020T No-Twist T-Handle Multi-Purpose Lever Clamp, 2"

Kant-twist clamps are the go to clamps for workpiece clamping on mills and for welding, and are the only choice when you need to securely clamp two parts together while they are machined as one. I've never had one slip or twist on me. The only bad point is that they tend to get borrowed and not returned.These are a copper plated jaw version, but you can also get them with polyurethane if you need to hold polished parts without any risk of damage. The copper version does a pretty good job though and I rarely reach for the PU jaws. The 4:1 clamping ratio is balanced just right.Once you've used these you won't reach for a normal C clamp again.

This cant twist is great. Works as it should.

I've purchased many of these in the past and the build quality was great. However, over the past two years or so, I've been receiving clamps that are assembled crooked: all the rivets are slanted causing the screw to bind and make the clamps very hard and annoying to use. Photo is from a smaller clamp (2"), but you can clearly see that both sides don't align. Lastly, the threaded pivots are no longer made of copper, which I think is another cost cutting measure. These used to be my favorite clamps for metal / welding works but I guess I'll have to find an alternative.

The low profile combined with clamping force these clamps offer make them well suited for clamping in tight spots. I use them for holding flat material together while I perform drilling/milling operations and their low profile allows for me to get the work pieces under the collet/quill for milling and drilling with very little setup.

BEST C-CLAMP EVER

Works fine, but the quality is down a little. Sloppy fit compared to the past. One pin was not properly riveted on one clamp and fell out.
