PAPA'S Blue Corn Meal

This is our favorite cornmeal. It is very finely milled, and being blue corn has a subtle yet distinct sweetness which is different from any sweetness which can be provided through adding sugar or honey to the recipe. Its flavor is not as earthy as a lot of blue corn, which in this case is nice. There are some applications where I want that earthiness, but for my cornbread, I only use this one and it is light and sweet and has a very fine, nice texture.

This is from an experienced producer and was very happy with the taste, quality and value of the product - we watched a series on the body human and blue corn meal like this cooked with juniper Berry ash was highly recommended by health experts. We will see and report later on the hopefully good long term positive effects! I know we will buy from this vendor again

I love that I can make and eat corn bread again with this blue corn meal. Blue corn should be more readily available to the public.

This is the second time of I have purchased this and the blue cornmeal is wonderful tasting. Makes things interesting gray-blue, but such a sweet, good taste.

I bought this product to make corn bread in my bread machine. Received it middle of April 2019 and it had Best by April 2019. Had not been ref. so concerned not fresh enough, and old since date given. How can I rate this when I haven't used it?

We use blue cornmeal for ceremony so it was important to me that it was true cornmeal & not ground to a flour how most come. It's a gorgeous color too!! Last 2 pictures are with sugar mixed in.
