I don’t usually leave reviews but this bird feeder is excellent and entertaining! Bird watching just got a whole lot easier. I love how well made it is and how crisp the video quality is. The AI recognition has been really helpful with identifying birds. My husband, 2 kids, and myself have the app on our phones and can all watch the birds come and go as we please. It was easy to install and set up. The app was really easy to navigate too! Well worth the money.

Endlessly entertaing and educational at the same time. What with the quality of the camera and sound, it is literally like having dinner with a bird. They are so close up and the sound is so good, it's quite amazing. The AI aspect identifies the kind of bird and then offers a wealth of information about whatever bird comes for dinner. The software provides all kinds of alternative settings and control options. It is all metal construction (no assembly, easy to set up) and I'd think it will last a long time based on how well buit it is. Although it is a somewhat expensive feeder, it is well worth the money if you are at all interested in birds. We love it!

The build quality is super strong and feels like it will last many seasons. It is very easy to set up and offers multiple different set up ways. The video quality is superb. I am also very impressed with the range of the wifi. The location I have it my phone barley gets wifi but the bird feeder works perfect, with zero technology problems.Highly recommend

The media could not be loaded. TLDR: Solar is fantastic, AI works well, notifications are great, night vision is nice, and it serves dual-purpose as a security camera. 10/10.This thing is insane. For the price, I didn't actually expect the solar power to work (let alone allow for 24/7 operation), and I certainly didn't expect the AI detection to work... but both do! It took a few days for the birds to notice the feeder, but now they don't leave. If you desire, your phone or apple watch can buzz every 10 seconds to show you live footage of a bird staring into your soul. The wifi signal is relatively weak in the area I set it up, and it still performs just fine. I can livestream my parents' front yard from cities away.The metal platform is large enough for multiple birds (see video) and the feeder can hold a lot of seed. Mounting was very easy.The AI is great at deciphering between people, pets, packages and birds. I set this up for my parents for bird watching, later realizing that it doubles as a security cam... I can text them when a package has arrived, if their cat wants to be let in, or if someone is standing at the door, etc. They can get the same notifications as well.Bird species recognition is pretty accurate, as long as the bird is visible & in frame. As you can see from my screenshots, it correctly guessed the goldfinch and grosbeak with 87% & 99% confidence. If the bird is too close or has its back turned, however, you find yourself receiving notifications of some wild guesses... e.g. the house fince that was mis-ID'd as a magpie. But that's okay, because the app caveats this guess with a confidence score (46% in this case), and it will usually be correct 5 seconds later when the bird turns around.Overall, I highly recommend this for bird nerds or as a gift for your parents.

Birds start showing up at about 6:45 and continue throughout the day. Camera is good, videos are interesting. It would be nice if there was a better explanation as to how to save the videos to Amazon, Google, etc. but figured it out after a couple of tries.I purchased a pole separately and that is working out well. Assembly and Installation wasn't too bad, taking 45 minutes to an hour.In Florida we are having Cardinals, Eastern Blue Birds, Titmouse, etc. appearing for sunflower seed.Hope this lasts for a while!

LOVE THIS! It is amazing to see all of the different birds that visit our backyard. The installation was super easy and the app setup was simple.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this feeder & I think it is awesome because:1. It has a large bin for bird food2. It is easy to Fill3. The solar panel can be positioned where it gets the best light5. The construction is sturdyI was new to the concept of smart bird feeders, but purchased one for a friend....I did buy another brand, for her, but only because I needed it by a certain date, and the Soliom was on backorder. However, I decided to purchase one for own use...since it seemed like a nice product.Fast forward a couple of months & I am completely sold on the Soliom. The "other product" is deficient in all of my selection criteria.The few problems I had during installation were all "operator error," but I thought I'd point it out so that others don't have the same issues.First, I was having problems with signal strenth of the wifi...until I realized that there was a separate antenna for the wifi connection that was near the bottom of the box.Second, if you run it without the solar panel, or let the battery go dead...the default selection is that it will not restart automatically.I ended up mounting the feeder on a separate pole & did not want the panel cord to potentially be in the way, so I modified a pole fitting to allow it to be mounted below the bird feeder...facing south. I will say that the birds can soil it...but so far the rain has kept it clear.Overall, I highly recommend the feeder...the pictures are amazing & I look forward to continued use.BTW: our birds love it!!!!!

The media could not be loaded. This camera bird feeder is awesome! I love the crystal clear videos and the solar charger is so helpful! (I had purchased one other cameral that I have to remove the camera in order to charge it) It has a quick response to movement. This feeder is very well made!Tip: Don’t place it where there is a lot of movement from pets or people since it records everything! (It could be a plus if you have want a hidden camera 😉)
