What a wonderful surprise. These finger protectors are perfect for my winter fingertips cracking problem. Forget trying to keep bandaid on them. This project stays tight but comfortable on my cracked finger tips and prevents any further friction to my cracks. I bought this product because my nail cracked and then fell off. I use this product to protect the nail bed and it works very well. It has many different sizes so they can can fit on one of your fingers. It does a very good job of protecting the nail.

I got the silicone finger cots (which do not allow you to choose a size) and found that only the 4 larger "thumb" covers fit my fingers. The smaller ones for the rest of the hand made my fingers go numb and were too tight. The cost per item goes up significantly if only 4 units fit. The other 8 might fit my pinkie finger. However, they do moisturize cuticles, allow painful cracked fingertips to heal quickly. They impair the use of touch screens.

For may years I have struggled with Dermatophagia, eating my fingers skin, nails until they bleed or are very painful to use in general. I have tried endless types of Band-Aids, wound wraps, plastic covers that get to stretchy or loose. I took a shot on these and honestly. I love them, Im protecting my fingers , working on not biting the others. They stay on tight, i can clean them easily, they feel like a second skin, and i have no desire to remove them, or them getting sweaty or coming off. I noticed if i have to turn something or pick up something i need to be careful because they grab on to everything. Other then that, being in IT, im using my phone constantly and they don't react with a touch screen which is NOT a deal breaker, just an inconvenience . Im going to buy another pack to have on hand. I see myself replacing them ever few months but still more effective then Band-Aids, less money to maintain and already an amazing effect on working on my condition. I never thought i would find something this effective. it gives me hope to get control of this issue that i have let go far to long. If they came in a darker shade of tan, that would be cool also so they would blend in with my skin easier. Again, minor issue for this kind of protection

I absolutely love these. They fit any finger (or toe!) and are soft, comfortable and squishy. I am a lifetime nail biter & picker and these are great to put on my fingers when I can’t stop myself. They help short circuit my bad habit in the times I can’t stop myself from picking or biting certain fingers. (It’s usually my thumbs). I can also use them to help protect an injured finger whether I bit too much and it hurts, or if I have cracked skin or a paper cut. I put a dab of lotion to help the injury heal faster, and can add Neosporin if it’s infected. I also found an additional use of putting on my toes! I ran a 5K last week, and my second to big toe has been hurting ever since. I tried on of the smaller ones today to test it out and it fits perfectly to allow me to wear shoes even with a sore toe. I believe it will prevent pain next time I run. (And when I say run, what I really mean is run for 1 minute out of 10 and fast walk the rest). I’ll try to use these during my next race, and report back. But based on how great it fits and how much cushion — I think it will be a perfect solution.
