It's a bit smaller than expected and a bit pricey but the grandchildren loved it so pretty happy.

Whilst it is a lovely product, unfortunately the one I have received has a split in 2 places of the product.

Sadly the wooden frame was broken on opening and the screws were exposed which was dangerous as a 3 year old was opening it for his bday present. The ice cream toys inside were a hit, but I’m not sure the quality is great as both sides were split from the screws.

This GAGAKU Wooden Ice Cream Set is an interesting toy. I had to think hard on how it should be reviewed because through my mom's eyes could be better, but my 5 year old absolutely loved it.Firstly, it arrived half assembled with every piece wrapped individually. That was fine with me because it protects the paint. Kiddo even had fun unwrapping it all and re-wrapping it all when she's done playing. You will need to help them push all the pieces into their holes for it to be sturdy, but that took 3 minutes tops. It's so adorable when it's all set up and ready to go.The magnets holding the ice cream to the cone should be stronger. They fall off easily which bugged me. You can't stack multiple scoops either, which limits play somewhat. A few more scoops would have been better. It's not the quality of the big brand wooden play toys, but it's not plywood either. The paint job was decent, but I'm not sure it'll hold up over time.Watching the kids play ice cream shop and later integrate this into their kitchen area made up for all that, though. I think it's priced well for what you get but I wish it wasn't so limited. Once they integrated it with their other food toys they were able to play longer. As I said, it could use small improvements, but it was a hit with the kids.

This product is great!It arrived packaged well, with each wooden ice cream piece individually wrapped, and in perfect condition. The main shelf unit for the ice cream is already assembled, with just a small orange rack and sign that need to be attached on the top. It’s very straightforward to do so, but does require a bit effort to insert them into their holes. I feel like this ensures it’s well made and children won’t be able to take it apart. Each ice cream fits into their appropriate slots easily, with three spaces for the extra magnetized interchangeable ice cream cone toppings. The only parts not wooden are the two acrylic sliding doors in the back, which have finger holes to slide. I do think these holes could be made larger. At their current size, it is possible that some children could force their finger in, making it difficult to pull them out. In the unlikely event this were to happen, the two acrylic doors are removable with effort, but not easily enough that a child could remove them without an adult during play. That scenario aside, this is still a very well made product, and great for kids.We do love this, and enjoyed ice cream time with our little one! Highly recommended.
