I love the flavor of this coffee but after almost half ...
I love the flavor of this coffee but after almost half a box exploding and clogging my kuering I won't buy anymore more. It's a shame because I usually can't drink my coffee black but with this coffew I could. This would have been my favorite new coffee if the pods worked. Disappointed!!

Did not like this, it had a medicine type aftertaste
Did not like this, it had a medicine type aftertaste.. I was looking for something similar to the Focus blend. I tried this one and I didn't like the flavor and saw no benefit to it.

OK on taste, slight bitterness
Wanted to try Lean Dark Roast when I saw the 'weight loss' benefit to it.I added just a bit of milk and turbinado sugar since I'm not a black coffee drinker. The aroma & color are good; taste is OK too. It is smooth and easy to drink, however I noticed a slight bitter aftertaste.I would definitely purchase if I were on dieting - as It would easily satisfy a coffee craving.

This k-cup compatible coffee produces a good cup of coffee--some will find it very good
This k-cup compatible coffee produces a good cup of coffee--some with find it very good, others just average. Its all to your taste. This brand includes various additives which are supposed to be good for "weight loss" or "stress relief," How do you really prove that one way or the other? I would not buy these for that purpose alone. If you want to try another brand of coffee, these are pretty good, if a little expensive.

Awesome coffee
I usually don't drink coffee regularly, but my husband got me hooked on this stuff a couple of months ago after trying it at work. I drink this with French Vanilla creamer and honestly, it tastes way better than that over-priced Starbucks crap. Sometimes I even fill up my cup with ice prior to brewing and add some caramel syrup to make my own fancy iced vanilla and caramel coffee drink. Amazing! But what I like best about this coffee, besides the taste and ease of making it at home, is that it gives me an added benefit to help my day, not just the same-old caffeine. Like the Focus has something in it to get me energized and ready to get all my crap done first thing in the morning. While my husband always drinks the lean because he's worried about his beer belly growing. :-P

Horrible!
Couple things that put me off about this particular K-cup1) Taste, it is horrible doesn't even taste like instant coffee, intact there is no taste at all!2) Cannot get a full cup! I set it to twelve get maybe half of that, tried it in two different brewers same resultLuckily I did not have any problems with ground in my coffee, or exploding K-Cups like other individuals.. tried three time and the third time was not a charm, in the trash these went! The pricing is crazy too, the chemicals they add must be expensive! Have no desire to try any other coffees from this company!

Two Stars to the Manufacturers for Trying Something Different...
I'm not that impressed with the flavor. I didn't have any of the exploding K-cup issues mentioned in other reviews, but just didn't like the taste of the coffee. It reminds me of a brand of herbal coffee I tried a few years ago when I was trying coffee alternatives. Perhaps its the Svetol additive I notice. It is a little bland, and is missing the kick of regular coffee. While it may be a great option for some people, I'll stick with my favorite brands.I give two stars to the manufacturers for trying something different with coffee that apparently appeals to several folks.

Ok coffee, not effective for weight loss or reducing appetite
This was a decent coffee...however, I definitely saw NO difference in my appetite, weight, or anything that would lead me to believe that it assists with weight loss in any way. In fact, I find that a stronger, bolder roast of coffee actually will suppress my appetite...this roast is called "dark," but it's not that dark, and definitely is not a very strong or bold coffee (at least to my tastes). So if you really like the flavor or roast of this coffee, great...but I don't recommend it for the "lean" properties it purports to have because of the green coffee bean extract. You're better off buying the green coffee bean separately, so you can know exactly how much you're getting.
