You need this tool
I purchased this saw track to cut T-11 panels into planks to use on a ceiling. The tool was easy to set up using the included instructions. The tracks are solid and I expect to have them for a long time. I cut ten sheets into six planks each with no problems. Each cut was straight. The saw track is a stiff plastic and glided down the track with no problem. My only issue is the clamp are plastic and I'm concerned they will break if over used. The plastic feet on the screws you tighten to hold the saw on wore off after tightening. They still held the saw in place. I highly recommend this tool. The clamps hold tight and it was easy to move from cut to cut. I'm sure I will find many uses besides just a track saw. It makes a solid and true straight edge. I'll never need to use my table saw again for large sheets of wood.

Edge guides are great, but saw plate won't attach to my saw
The saw plate that would allow me to turn my circular saw into a track saw (kind of) won't fit onto my saw. I have a Flex rear-handle circular saw, and the motor is completely in the way of the clamps. The only way to clamp the plate to the saw is right up by the front corner of the shoe. Unfortunately, with the design and positioning of the clamps, it's not enough pressure to stay attached through any kind of movement, and it's pretty much impossible to get it lined up properly with the blade. I would return this, except that the edge guides are awesome. I thought I'd be using the main edge with the quick clamps more, but I actually end up using the extension piece with the additional clamps a lot more, since those clamps give a lot more flexibility to how it can be clamped to surface of varying levels and angles. All in all, I absolutely recommend the clampable straight edge guides, but can't quite recommend the saw plate if your saw has a large motor that gets in the way.

Not worth it.
The tracks are ok... the plastic saw plate is complete garbage... Doesn't grip the saw so it moves laterally and makes things crooked.. Probably better to just use the saw directly against the track.

heavy duty and well made
As described and works very well for what it was made for. Customer service was helpful as one of the parts for tee squre was stripped, they are sending me a new part.

Extension piece engineering is junk at attachment point and impractical to disassemble reassemble
Update : The junk plastic clip on the saw plate broke trying to release clamp . I wonder if the OEM manuf would send me a new one 🤨? I’ll try to use it again if desperate. Absolutely do not buy to use on a commercial job site . 100” version for sure as prev described . Other than junk I call this a pretty beta demo version and at best v 1.0 for free with ads to be synonymous with software concepts . 😡 Lost all my typing so short version is Flimsy toy, junk basically, bends- save your money Extension piece engineering is junk at attachment point and impractical to disassemble reassemble especially it doesn't not perfectly machine fit algn and leave a catch protrusion for saw shoe or trolly. Very disappointed - must be designed by some engineer that doesn't actually use and tools besides their CAD app. Grab a piece of LVL engineered lumber or some aluminum box beam and screw it down.... Copied pasted another review agreed: My major complaint about the Bora track is that it takes too long to set up and dial in an accurate cut. After spending 5 minutes to set up each cut, the track saw guides the saw pretty good but unfortunately, I have more complaints than compliments. 1. The rail system: I bought the extension to make the rail 100 inches long so that I can cut plywood sheets along the long length. My issue here is how the two tracks mate up. The rails don't line up perfectly and a few times I had my saw get hung up at the transition. There is also a noticeable "bow" in the middle both an up and down bow and a side to side bow. I drew a line on the plywood and when I lined up the track to the line, you can see that it deflects 1/8 in the middle and it also lifts up off the plywood. 2. The saw plate: Depending on your saw, you may have a better experience than me. I have a Milwaukee 7-1/4 M18 battery powered saw. The snap-on clamps that hold down the saw to the saw plate interfere with the motor so I can't cut anything thicker than 1 inch. It wasn't a bid deal when I was only cutting 3/4 inch plywood but not being able to cut 1.5 inch wood was really annoying. 3. Lining everything up: The saw blade obviously isn't flush to the rail since there is no soft material to precut to establish a cut frame of reference, so lining everything up took what seemed like forever when trying to account for the blade offset. The saw plate does have a marker you can adjust to set the offset of where the saw blade will cut but that doesn't help when you are setting up the rail! When you place the saw plate on the rail, that's when you know you are off and have to redo it. Also, because the marker sits higher than the wood material, if you look at it from a slightly different angle, your cut line may seem off when its not or it may seem right when its not. I used a method that I saw on a YouTube video of adding a scrap wood in front of the wood you want to cut so that you cut the scrap first and it lets you see exactly where your cut line will be. In the end, I use the 50 inch rail only as a guide without the saw plate. I know the offset of my saw blade from the edge so I know where to place the rail. Its not super accurate, but it works. Since I'm not using the extension, I don't have to worry about a bow or a misaligned connection between the two rails. If I knew I was going to use this as a straight edge, I would have just bought a strait edge. I regret not waiting a little longer and saving up to buy a track saw. That will be my next purchase and I imagine the Bora Track will just collect dust and eventually be sold or tossed out.

Perfect for circular saw
I needed a circular saw guide that would be long enough to cut a door. The instructions that were included were awful - no words and even the pictures were very unclear. After a quick google / YouTube search, we were able to get the instructions we needed. I saw some reviews that said the extension didn’t work well, but we did not have issues when we secured them together with the four screws. It secured easily to the saw and was easy to use. Definitely recommend.

Accurate, but made of poor quality of material
Nice and really accurate unit. It could have built better and stronger.

This is for people buying craftsman power tools or folks thinking that Ryobi is a Japanese brand. The track comes in two pieces and will be ok if you only cut 4’ at a time - but if you put them together, they will not give you a professional cut. There is no index/keyed mechanism here - just some flat-stock and some screws to hold both pieces together. I contacted the manufacturer who is blaming it on user error, not an inherent design flaw. I would rate the production value somewhere around $25. Do yourself a favour (as it is with any tool) and buy a proper single-piece track or make one yourself. The resulting cut and precision will save you time and issues later on.

Clamp sticks at the worst time, when you attach the 2 rails together, you need ANOTHER straight edge to ensure that it is straight. Found this out the hard way on a full sheet of ply. Spend you money on a REAL track saw

Cumbersome process to install the plate to the saw and align it. Illustrated instructions are not sufficient to provide installation details. They need some written instructions. It is not Ikea. Rough slide of plate on the track. Track extension is no good. The plate bites at the joint between track sections, no matter how ptight or precise you try to get that joint gap closed. You need a screwdriver to connect and disconnect 4 screws every time you need the extention on. The T- unit is useless as well as it flips down at the other end of the board and if you centre it, ghe saw will not finish ghe cut at the other end. I feel Bora tried to do a good job but they need to work on those details for improvement. I tried it once. I initiated a return.

Warning!...to all those that are considering purchasing the Bora Set... 1. It does not work out of the box with all saws, in particular saws that are battery powered...I have a Milwaukee 18V and you have to modify the screw on the carriage to make the saw fit with the battery attached 2. the end clamp binds, it need to be hit sometimes to get it to move 3. the straight edge, and extension straight edge do not accurately fit together, once assembled they are offset, not by much but enough to make an inaccurate straight cut 4. the connection screws on the edge extension are quite soft, stripped one when taking it out I would not purchase again, I would spend the extra $ and buy a higher quality brand
