So these are half the price of the other more popular choices, and just as good. They are well made, the paint is good, they were not missing any parts, and they included a lot of tools to help you. The packaging was good and there were no dents or scratches. They are extremely sturdy and will last a long time. The company contacted me to make sure they arrived and that everything was there, so that was a plus too.The instructions needed to be more detailed. I watched some videos for a similar system and that was invaluable. The posts have holes for the middle bar brackets at different levels, the taller one goes on the bottom! Put the post covers on before the brackets! If using the sleeve anchors for concrete find a video on how to install. They are very tricky, but when done are very solid and secure. We used some of them and some screws made for concrete called tapcons. They worked well too. Our steps are slabs of granite, like in a kitchen, but shiny side down. We built them and we love them, but it made the installation not as easy as most would be. I would say for most people this is not a hard project.Even with the instructions not being perfect this was a great choice and I highly recommend it.

Only half of holes drilled in brackets. Supplied wrench 12&14 didn't fit bolts. Needed 13. Overcame these defects. Otherwise, a nice railing.

We haven’t had a handrail on our front steps in years and so we ordered two of these rails. After a bit of a learning curve, they were easy to assemble. Tip: don’t drill the holes too deep.They look nice and are sturdy. We recommend.

The structure itself is quite solid. Quality went downhill from there. The included box wrench appeared to be made of chrome . . . lousy material for making a good fit, it reminded me of tools from Japan in the 1950s. In addition, the wrench had a 12mm and 14 mm end, neither of which fit the included wood OR concrete bolts. My own 13mm box wrench fit perfectly.A others have noted, the center bar is about one inch too short, thereby requiring the “legs” to be pigeon toed inward to keep the bar from falling out but creating a problem getting the top rail to fit.Finally, the instructions indicate the screws used to lock the bars together do not require pre-drilling a hole as the “self-drilling” screws will make a hole when force is applied. Hulk Hogan couldn’t apply enough pressure to get these screws through the metal of the bars. I had to purchase a carbide bit to drill a starter hole to make the screws work.I will probably look to another manufacture for my second porch rail, preferably one not made in China.

They are ok for the price probably wouldnt purchase again. I bought 2....the middle part is to short...doesnt make sense.
