Good quality for the price . Perfect for beginners

Despite not coming with instructions this shoulder rest is easy to fit and gives a good fit. I suspect other negative reviewers didn't work out how to adjust it. Once you work this out then I think this would fit any half size violin and is good value for money. A simple sheet of instructions would improve this product at minimal cost.

I like these basic shoulder rests for my students. Yes there are more luxurious/expensive models, but these absolutely do the job and they’re straightforward to fit by a six year old. I’ve never had one break.

This is one of the cheapest on Amazon and it’s for a reason after I received it. The shoulder rest simply doesn’t fit well and doesn’t stay on the violin. During one short practice session, I guarantee the shoulder rest will come off at least once. It’s hard enough to get my son to practise and I don’t want him to have more excuse why he’s fiddling the violin!

The clips just couldn't hold the side of the violin ~ useless~ I need it for performance this afternoon~urgent use! I have to replace my old clips to this should rest~!

Bought after changing from 1/4 to 1/2 size violin. This is a really tight fit, almost didn’t fit our new violin. My son can’t get it on by himself and an adult needs to fit it. Whereas he could easily put on his 1/4 size violin
