Wireless WiFi Pool Thermometer with Easy-to-Read 4" Digital LCD Display, Perfect Water Thermometer for Indoor & Outdoor Swimming Pool, Hot Tub, Spa, Aquarium, Ponds, and Baths

I had hoped this thermometer would be a solution to monitor my pool temperature but at the end of the day I’m $60 poorer with nothing to show for it.Main issues: 1. Connectivity—spotty at best even when base station was within 25’ of the thermostat. 2. Thermostat lcd screen filled with condensate then stopped working today.Take a pass on this product and possibly try one of the more expensive options on Amazon—chances are high they are better.

The monitor is easy to program and with the backlight on very easy to read from across the room. The pool thermometer is very straight forward and extremely easy to install batteries, set channel, remove and replace cap. The included seal keeps it water tight very easy to read digital pool temperature display. I had a minor issue that I contacted Customer Support about and they immediately responded and corrected the problem.Highly recommend this product.

Instructions are not good. Installation was difficult with many attempts and having to reference the Website instructions. Unit timed out before I could pair it. Disconnecting the unit and repowering it did not help. Website instructions in small print said using the "+" key on the large display and holding it would restart the pairing and that did work! And Yes, you do need to keep the Large display unit plugged in in o order to use the WiFi capabilities. Unit does work once connected with limited range. Range is more like 15 feet if the signal has to go through a wall. The floating device has an easy-to-read display. However, the App uses pastel background colors with small white characters. It is very difficult to read the water temperature of the Hot Tub and the battery symbol is even harder to distinguish. Dark or black characters would help so much!

Have tried out for couple hours and see a lot of no no:- The pool thermometer is constantly out of sync with the LCD display (channel 1 doesn't show in LCD)- The display in app is out of sync too: thermometer is 17 but it's 13 in app- The temp chart in app, the main purpose I go for this product, is sadly not working. E.g., the temp has gone down from 24 to 22 during afternoon to night, but the chart is still going up.- The min-max function is apparently not working: when the outdoor temp changes from 24 to 17, the min-max still shows as 20.2 and 20.6- It does't make sense to loop channel 1 to 3 when only 1 is in use: it means for 2/3 of time it displays useless info.- Working distance is off the description by large: with only 1 door between the LCD display and the thermometer, the connection is lost when it's > 15 ft (5m).

Won’t sink to wi fi and app.No support.

Thermometer takes 2 AAA batteries. They only last for a day or two before you have to replace them with new ones. On top of that, internal connections inside the housing are very fragile and broke after 1 week of use. Would not recommend. Not durable at all. Connectivity worked fine and was able to set that up easily. Product durability was the worst.

Bought to keep track of my cold plunge temperature (when it starts creeping up, I know it's time to change the filter). It worked fine for about 2-3 weeks. Then I lost connectivity from the thermometer to the base station (which is plugged in). Had to reset both devices and connectivity came back. Then 2-3 weeks later, same thing happened but couldn't re-establish connectivity. Looking for a replacement now. FYI - the thermometer and base station are less than 8 feet away from each other (through a sliding glass door).
