Great light for the price
Great key light for streaming and video calls. Brightness and color temperature are easy to adjust, and the light is soft and flattering on camera. Setup was quick, and the remote control makes it super convenient.

Perfect lighting setup for webcam and workspace.
Dimmable white light with a softening lense. It can really pour on the intensity if needed. I have this acting as a webcam light source that doubles as a overhead lamp for my workspace. I have it mounted directly behind my monitor and standing over the top at a downward angle. It's big enough and the filter soft enough to not create sharp shadows on your face and behind you.I put it on a smart outlet so I can turn it off and on by voice. It will retain the last dimming setting, so turning it on and off does not require you to reset light levels. The remote is a little odd, as it needs to be turned on to interact with the lamp. Still it is more convenient than having to interact with the back of the light to adjust light levels.

Ideal for video calls.
I purchased this to offset the window light that backlights me during video conference calls. It's very bright and adjustable for both color tone and intensity.

Quality key light at half the price of Elgato
It’s a great light for its size. Not quite as big as the Elgato Key Light, but almost half the price and the light is just as good. You might have to turn it up a little more than you would the Elgato, but even at 15% where I have it, it’s not harsh at all and just bright enough. I have mine about 3 feet away. If you had it further away, you could set it higher for more, but softer light. Even if I were to get a bigger light than this, I’d get the 15” Neewer. I’ve just bought too many products from them for my streams to doubt them at this point.

Easy to use and set up
I use it every day for zoom meetings, and shooting YouTube videos. Easy to use and I like that it has the remote with it.

Great product
A little more expensive than other ones on the market. I actually bought a cheaper smaller one right before this one and use both . This one is honestly really great, makes me feel and look professional when I’m recording vids and help light my green screen well. Worth it imo

good choice for video conferencing and similar applications
I really appreciate the quality of light the Neewer Key Light delivers. While this isn’t a big enough light source to provide the kind of soft light on the subject available from a larger softbox, when using this for video conference calls and such, it’s plenty acceptable for that kind of use. Also, the edge-lit design means there is no array of individual point sources of warm and cool color temperatures arrayed in rows, like found on many LED panels. I’ve run into some strange looking edges on shadows with those kinds of panels if they are not covered with a diffuser and reflections of those types of LED panels look strange when occasionally caught on video, such as a reflection in glasses. I also appreciate the very wide color temperature range. While I’m normally happy with something in the neighborhood of 5500K, the ability to take the Kelvin value well above or below that can be very handy when needing to match this light to the color temperature of one or more other sources in the environment. This is not a particularly powerful light source, but if used close to the subject it is needing to illuminate, and if it doesn’t have to compete with more powerful light sources that can’t be easily controlled, it can do an acceptable job for video conferencing and some other applications. There are controls both on the back of the panel and on a slim, AAA battery-powered remote for On/Off, color temperature, light intensity and Channel. I’m happy with the handheld remote, but there is also a USB dongle riding in the edge of the panel light that can be moved to a USB port on your computer to allow control over the light from your computer using downloadable software. That will appeal to many users, I suspect, especially if using more than one light.Powering is simple as long as there is AC available nearby. A supplied inline AC supply allows you to simply plug it in and forget it, no battery concerns.Overall construction quality is plenty adequate for the kind of use for which it is intended. The panel itself is plastic, as expected in such a product. There is little heat generated by the LEDs, so there is no need for metal fins to serve as a heat sink, nor for a fan.I’m not a big fan of the tiny ball mount, which is the quality you might expect to find thrown in with an inexpensive pocket LED light, still, this light is best employed in a set-it-and-leave-it situation, in which case the budget ball should do the job.The two-section vertical support is made of plastic. Again, like the cheap ball mount, this is probably adequate if you’re not planning to move this around much. At its base, this tubular support screws onto a plenty sturdy metal clamp that offers the ability to set it up for either of two ranges of adjustment to accommodate a rather wide range of horizontal surface thicknesses. I have mine mounted on the edge of a 1.75” thick tabletop and it appears as if it could handle up to another inch of thickness. That clamp mounting works fine if you have a conveniently located surface to which you can attach it, and as long as that surface is flat on both sides. If one surface isn’t flat and parallel to the other things might get interesting. Finally, if you need to consider occasionally moving or storing this system, the box it arrived in is perfect for organizing everything into padded cutouts. The package is slim and easy to carry or store. It isn’t, of course, a road case, but it’s a pretty cool container, even if cardboard, and doesn’t take up much space when put aside for when needed. This is a very decent lighting tool for zoom calls and similar applications. I’ve already also had success using it as a light source for some table-top photography. Its standard 1/4-20 mounting threads make it compatible with most photography and video grip gear.
