This is a great quality tool but definitely needs to be used with care. It's super sharp and if you're not paying attention you'll be sure to nip yourself. Seems professional grade.

SHARP!!! I had a simple time using these. They clean fairly well. Retain sharpness. They don’t have a case or cover for the sharp parts. There was a piece upon arrival to use as a cover but it gets lost easily( at least for me). I prefer using a citrus cuticle remover cream, but these are great for those cuticles that are a bit thicker than most.

This feels good in the hand. No slippage. Easy to use, and I didn't cut myself.

It is strong and sharp and will cut either toe or finger nails. The only small negative is that is cuts a small straight portion, not curved like a typical nail trimmer. This makes it just a little trickier to trim and not leave some jagged edges.

I'm a tough customer. I only buy the best nail care tools I can find... they don't need to be the most expensive, but they've GOT to be GOOD quality. I need them to be sharp, smooth, well designed, functional, and they MUST hold an edge. This usually requires they're built with quality hardened steel. I don't like gritty pivots or return springs either.This set of nippers works flawlessly. They're nicely packaged, and built with quality steel. The blades are extremely sharp and hardened so that edge will stay that way for a long time. The pivot is glassy, and smooth. I really like the tip-guard that's included, it's well designed and will help protect the precision of the cutters. If I had one comment about a desired improvement, the handles are a little dainty for my large man-hands. Beyond that, these are seemingly top-grade kit. I think you'll like them. Easily recommended.

This is a horrible nipper. It’s dull and has a jagged finish. Tip has a gap as well as at the end.
