Taste great in your coffee I used to use The one called the original coffee creamer, original dry, coffee creamer, but it has Corn syrup solid which are carbohydrates which turns into sugars in your body and I could use powdered milk in my coffee tried Powdermilk from acme and it was OK, but it was fat free. this is whole milk and taste stronger like a cow or a farm yes it reminds me of wholesome goodness it’s stronger flavor than the fat-free but I like it very much in a coffee I had powdered milk from a cardboard box before and the powdered milk took on the flavor of the cardboard box. This is packaged in a plastic jar with a lid, which keeps the flavor and does not tant the flavor., Bottom line good price good flavor good product. I will be putting this on auto once I find out how long this Jar will last my coffee in the morning now is much more enjoyable. I don’t get that weird feeling in my gut later on in the day. from living on coffee all morning. if you’re looking for a dry creamer and you really like your coffee, you owe it to yourself to try this coffee creamer, which is nothing more than dried whole milk. Nothing else nothing else that you don’t need just good wholesome dry milk. oh, OK. This taste that I am tasting is not a farm taste. It’s actually cream taste since I don’t have cream that much. Don’t even remember what cream taste like., I just came back from Walmart and got whole milk powder great value brand , it has the cardboard flavor no good , this brand from Amazon is good great flavor in coffee, tossing out Walmart brand.UPDATE 12/25 just got my order in and it’s the same good taste I missed in my coffee so happy Amazon has this it’s very hard to get good dry milk this is the best you can get no additive real milk like in the old days I will be putting this on auto order and never run out , I you want or need dry milk this is the one to get DONT BOTHER WITH OTHER BRANDS ,we the people have done that for you just read the reviews and injoy this powdered milk and I will be reading your reviews soon , the flavors are real the milk is really good, I drink 2 cups now it was 1 cup a day now it’s 2 cups at a time because it just taste great , used with tasters choice coffee and it’s heaven no bitterness just smooth taste I had to give this update because I missed this so much , throughout my coffee mate chemical concoction that they sell you as creamer it’s all unnatural and chemically derived and bad for your body.

I have been buying Hoosier Hill Farm products for years and they are simply the BEST. I LOVE their powdered whole milk and heavy cream. The flavor is incredible and I use them to make my own coffee creamer. Whole milk powder, whole milk, sweetener of choice, and vanilla extract. You can add other things, too....pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, whatever you like. YUMMY!!! Getting away from store bought creamers dropped my triglycerides like a stone. Try it.

I read a lot of reviews before I chose to try this brand. My reasons to have powdered milk over store milk. I don’t have space to store a quart size container which is the smallest you can get. There is just me and realistically a pint at a time is perfect (2 cups). The 1lb container makes just under two gallons, which sees me through 4 weeks and now is on my subscribe and save. When I read the reviews, I paid attention to how the people who liked the product prepared it. I tried it several ways to give the reviews a fair trial. Warm water method resulted in curdling probable because there is no way to tell what warm is supposed to be. Next I tried both filtered tap water and bottled water at room temperature. The tap water here is safe to drink but it has a funny aftertaste, so I believe any complaints about the taste noted in the reviews is the water, not the product. I tried both a Protein Shaker and Smoothie blender, both methods with room temp water the reviews had good success with. I prefer the shaker, the blender is too aggressive. At this point I tasted and was pleased at the silky texture and the coating on the glass, no different than that poured from a carton. I asked a friend to try this in her fancy coffee machine, and she was confused at first and surprised that it was powdered whole milk and not a new kind of milk I found at the store. It performed perfectly in the frothing process and she is seriously considering changing her milk purchasing. Every cup or two that I made tastes no different that the cup or two before it consistently . This product is real whole milk with the moisture removed, all you do is add good tasting water and it is indistinguishable in; taste, appearance and performance, to milk you buy in the dairy case. It is so much easier storing milk in a sealed container on the shelf and leaving valuable fridge space for other things.

Mixes pretty well and has a decent taste compared to other powdered milks. It does have the powdered milk taste slightly but not overwhelming. The reason for 4 stars is the cost and having the strange powdered milk taste. I have had other brands that you can not taste a difference.

Love all the items I have purchased from Hoosier. Placed in my stock for when I don't have what I need in the fridge. I have bought their Heavy Cream, Milk, and Butter. All have worked well and have a great shelf life. I just found out they sell cocoa and will definitely add it to my stocks. Thank you Hoosier. They are a great company to deal with.

So I am not a huge milk drinker but will use it from time to time for recipes that call for it , in my tea and use it for frothed milk for espresso and lattes as well for the occasional bowl of cereal when the mood strikes. Which means that buying a half gallon or a gallon is a waste in my house. So being able to mix up a glass or a quart or pint depending on what my needs are is very convenient. I was delightfully surprised at how close this tastes to fresh milk from the store. I prefer the taste of lactose free milks but they are so expensive and much rather try some cheaper options. Though if you follow the instructions it seems awful thick for my liking so I add a little more water than it asks for. I normally use the 1 pint measurement to make 2 pints of mixed and that feels good to me. I noticed by the reviews that some folks are struggling with clumping issues. You cannot use cold or hot water to mix this stuff up. You need room temp or slightly warmer water to mix it up. Whisk the ever-loving crap out of it or use an immersion blender or the like to get it all mixed up. I whisk because its not all that much effort. Do not use plastic containers to store as if you mix it thick, it will stick to the walls of the container and dry out. Use glass. I grabbed a couple 2 pint glass milk jugs and have been using them. I also have some glass half gallon jugs I usually make tea in, if I want to make more than a pint or two of milk. Which is easier for me to go through in a week. This stuff is great if you don't use a whole lot of milk and it is shelf stable for a year or two. Based on how I have been reading the reviews of how other people have been using it as a thickener for stew and stuff like that, I am going to get a lot of use out of this stuff. Now I kind of want to try powdered eggs!

Ok, most of us have had powdered milk at some point and we all remember the nasty taste. This is not that powdered milk. I was very pleasantly surprised! It is rich, sweet and creamy. I liked it so much that I subscribed and am receiving the larger bag every three months. I store it in vacuum sealed quart jars with mixing instructions on top. No more running to the store for milk! I very highly recommend Hoosier Hill Farm whole milk powder. Excellent.

I'm giving this product 3 stars, not because the product is defective but the packaging is horrible. I ordered the 6lb bag and it arrived with a hole in the bag, milk powder everywhere. I pushed the refund process because $49.99 is a lot of money. They gave me a refund without a hassle but you have to follow the prompts or you will miss it. I immediately ordered another bag and it also came with a hole in the bag, milk powder all over the box. The first box for shipping seemed find, but not a lot of paper to cushion the bag. The 2nd one came in a brown paper bag.. so it definitely was not a great way to pack the item. Thankfully I got a full refund for both, but if I were to order this product again, I would most likely order a smaller container or go straight to the manufacturer and ask for decent packaging. The product itself, at least those received in the containers, has always been great... the bag not so much. I do love Hoosier Farms products!
