There are some products that are simple, but also innovative and this magnifier falls into this category. I bought a couple of these for my elderly parents whose failing eyesight was causing problems, and whose arthritis was preventing the use of a traditional magnifying glass. They can use this to magnify text simply by placing it on, and sliding it down the page.This is a good quality product at a reasonable price, and it works as expected. We have not noticed any major problems with them. The only improvement I would suggest is for the price, it should be made from glass and not plastic.I also bought them this magnifying dome ( Dome Magnifying Glass Paperweight, 80mm, Made from Optical Crystal Glass, Ergonomic Magnifier, Great for Reading Books, Maps, Documents & More, for Home and Office Magnification ).
