We love this stuff in our house. Easy to use and full of flavor and color. We make bbq pork on the traeger, with it all the time. Also love to experiment with this in the kitchen. Used it many times on random cooking ideas.

Unable to find in supermarket, so purchased here. Excellent flavor, and easy preparation.

This is what I used to make all of my char su meats such as spareribs ,pork loin ,chicken etc.Add some honey to it or some spicy sesame oil, let it marinate overnight and in the morning put it in the oven. The best piece of meat that I use is a pork shoulder or as it’s called the butt . Cut up Into long strip and marinate them overnight. Put a grill or a grate over a large cookie sheet ,which has a lip on the sides,put it in the oven. You will have a lots of char su that you can use in your soup , in fried rice and any other Asian/fusion food . The strips of pork can be frozen separately and put in zipper bags..Each strip is than sliced, chopped or eaten like a boneless sparerib.

I love this stuff. Been using forever since I’ve live my life in Hawaii.Makes all the ribs (pork and beef) very ono and chicken terrific.

Perfect seasoning for bbq pork.

This is the BEST Chinese style BBQ pork seasoning I have found. And I have looked at many. It is genuinely great stuff.Unfortunately, the individual packets are repacked into a separate plastic bag, after another pack must have leaked and coated all the packages, leaving them gritty and very sticky! It was a nasty mess, although my individual packets were intact. YMMV.I highly recommend this item, but do suggest you source locally if at all possible, because all of my 8 packages were all covered in a sticky mess.

I ordered these packets of char sui seasoning because we were unable to find them here in TN. We have enjoyed char sui dinners for years as we traveled with Air Force and lived in so very many places. WE enjoyed the company of Hawaiian Clubs in almost every location, and get together dinners were very commonplace. I am not really a meat eater, but I do enjoy the thin sliced chicken, beef, or pork when it is flavored with the char sui seasoning.... Very, very good!
