French Press Coffee Maker by Pour, Thick Borosilicate Glass, Bamboo Lid, and Stainless Steel Filter, Eco-Friendly Coffee Brewing – Dishwasher Safe - For Grounds and Loose Tea 36oz./1000M

First off I would like to stay aesthetically, this is a nice looking french press. I appreciated the fact that I could remove the glass component from the metal housing for ease of cleaning. I would also like to point out that the customer support was very prompt. When I first purchased this the wooden "piece" at the top of the press split in 2 and I assumed it was just a defective unit and they quickly replaced it no questions asked. Unfortunately as you can see from the attached picture this is a flaw in that by using bamboo strips they have to be glued together. This is not only an issue in the lid but also in the handle. The entire bamboo portion of the press is glued together, this doesn't work with hot liquids. In addition, for anyone that purchases this, do not leave in a sink of hot water to wash or certainly do not put in a dishwasher or you probably won't have a lid or handle after one or two wash cycles. This is certainly one of those situations where you "get what you pay for".

I used this for about 1.5 months over the summer so I can't comment on it's durability past that. It looks really clean, modern, and nice quality. It's super easy to clean. The glass comes out of the metal holder. I don't think it's dishwasher safe.The only cons I have are that 1) the glass felt a bit thin, it definitely would not last a drop onto a hard surface and 2) the water stains dry on this very visibly! Not sure if that was the glass or the tap water in Seattle.All in all a great buy and looks nice, if not the highest buy-it-for-life level quality.

If you like to drive an electric car with electricity produced from coal burning plant this produce is for you.Bamboo is a STUPID material to use for handle. The break is along the grain. Because the bamboo is dense it doesn’t even glue well.Well at least I can pat myself on the back for buying eco friendly bamboo product before I dump it in the trash to be used for land fill... that doesn’t flood! I’m just a walking eco warrior!

This is just the right size for me! I can brew 1 to 4 cups o' coffee for my morning ritual, usually 2 will do!! Great stainless screen filter keeps all the grounds out of the pour! Easy to clean up and an extra filter screen is included!

I love this French press! The first one was packaged by an idiot and came broken but being that it's prime, I shipped it back and the 2nd one arrived fine! We love our French press. The wood is pretty and I like the glass because we usually split the bounty between us, and being able to see the coffee is helpful.

French press coffee is so fast and easy. This is my second press. I like the bamboo lid. The problem I had with my first press was the nut in the center of the lid rusted away. Bamboo is better

The nicest press I've ever owned. I was leary about trying it because of the price but happy I did. Didnt want to spend $80 but wanted something better than $15 quality. Super fine strainer (and includes an extra one!) The ones I've had in the past and seems to be quite durable. Very happy with purchase and would recommend.

I bought this on September 23rd. The lid started cracking almost immediately. After a couple of weeks, a chunk fell out of the handle. On November 23rd, the lid snapped clear in half, rendering the entire thing useless. Unfortunately, the return period had passed, so now I can't return it either.This French press claims to be "dishwasher safe" and made of "strong materials" but it's neither.
