Stock was better than I expected
Super dope, got it in place of getting a 100% keyboard kit since those seem to be less available and I keep thinking about switching to back to the original keycaps cause they sounded really nice. I don’t really care too much for a heavier keyboard and don’t pick up on the actual frame being plastic. It looks super solid with some white keycaps but I won’t hesitate to go back to the OEM ones.In Picture: swapped keycaps and used a different cable

Great mechanical keyboard!
Great tactile feel. Audible click when typing that is extremely satisfying. Build quality is excellent. Individual keystrokes are precise and have an almost perfect amount of resistance and travel depth. Overall a great keyboard that I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.

Love the feel of this keyboard - great for typing - office work
I have one for home and for work. Costs more than a cheap keyboard, but these are designed to last for a long time, so I am not worried about the extra cost.As the primary interface to a computer, having a good keyboard and mouse make the daily usage of a computer much nicer.

Driver issue on intended computer
Works fine, plug and play works on every machine except the one I bought it for- this is strictly a problem with that computer. The keyboard itself is nice as expected

Great keyboard at a great price!
Great build quality, good key feel. Very programmable, cool lighting effects (white light only, but it looks good) and while I ordered this one for my gaming PC, I am seriously thinking about getting another one for my Mac! It comes with keycaps for both types of OS, and a sturdy tool to remove the keycaps. If anyone is interested, these keys are compatible with the Cherry MX standard, so you can easily swap all the keys out.

4.8 out of 5.0: If C2 Pro is This Good, I can Only Imagine How Good is Q6 Pro
Background:I needed a cheap and quality (oxymoron!) mechanical keyboard for KVM of my 2 laptops. Already had a Corsair K70 for the last 3 years for my workstation. I didn't need all the colors and display disco for almost 3 times the price of this one while keeping the price around $60. I had heard about the Keychron's quality, so decided to spend my money on this. Also, I do not write reviews till at least 2 to 3 months of usage. However, the product is so good that I decided to break that rule.Pros:1. Great packaging and presentation. Very simple layout of all the items in the box.2. Easy setup with very clear instructions.3. I prefer Red keys - these keys have very smooth operations as well as good solid clicks. Furthermore, the spacing of the keys is just right for my hands. My Corsair often misses the keys and slows me down, even after 3 years of practice with it.4. Compact size with decent heft.5. Nice cool white colored keys that match the background light of the 2 Dell laptops. The light doesn't feel overbearing at night.Cons: Basically nit-picks1. The plastic body. Not a con, for the price. But the metal ones do look and feel nice. Cheap beggars (me) can't be choosers.2. Need dedicated buttons for sound control. Not current FN + sound control setup.3. Unless I am mistaken, I do not see any buttons for Print Screen and Scroll Lock. Also, Scroll Lock does not have a light to show if it's on.Bottomline:For around $50 this is actually a very good keyboard. If it lasts even for 3 years, I will be very happy. This product deserves 4.8/5.0.

LED Placement A Dealbreaker
The Keychron C2 Pro, on paper, appears to be the perfect inexpensive no-frills wired mechanical keyboard for desktop computer users who don't need superfluous features like RGB lighting or wireless connectivity. It even feels good to type on with the Keychron Brown switches giving a similar typing experience to a Cherry MX Brown switch. Unfortunately, there is one deal-breaker for me, the south-facing LEDs and the lack of any kind of compatible shine-through keycaps. I don't see what the point of having an LED backlight that shines up at your eyes as you type, but not illuminating the keys. This is especially bad in dark environments or at night. The white LED light coming out the bottom of the keys messes with your night-vision when you look down at the keyboard and prevents you from seeing the keys. The south-facing LEDs also prevent you from simply switching out the keycaps for an aftermarket set since most of the shine-through keycaps out there are for north-facing LEDs. Keychron should have made the LEDs north-facing and give the option to have shine-through keycaps. Such a disappointment.

Keyboard is nice, but backlight LEDs didn't make it to a year.
Overall, I like the keyboard, but the backlights on a handful of keys have only made it about 10 months before going out. I'm not sure what would cause an LED to fail under a key (never had this issue with any other LED-lit keyboard), but I'm surprised it would happen to separate keys over the course of a few months. If you aren't interested in the backlighting, this may be totally fine for you, but I would not purchase it again as I rely on the backlighting when working in dark environments.
