Absolutely amazing, spent hours examining all the geodes and opening them up and finding such amazing crystals inside

My daughter loves geodes so she loved opening her own

All the crystals were white not as shown on the box or the photos that came with the advert. I bought 2 boxes for my grandkids so there were 20 chances to actually get some coloured crystals but there were zero coloured crystals even though the details on the advert talked about coloured crystals. The white crystals are still interesting but for the price it would be better if coloured crystals were also included.

The product description and photos showed vibrant pink and blue crystals, which excited my niece immensely. However, upon opening the kit, we found only grey crystals.It was heartbreaking to see her disappointment. Children, especially at this age, are drawn to colors and visuals, and they do not understand why the product they received does not match the photos they saw. This discrepancy between the advertised product and the actual contents is misleading and unfair.Please consider making your product photos accurately reflect the contents of the kit. It's essential to set correct expectations, especially for items intended for children, who cannot read yet.

Pretty disappointed with this product. After going through three socks for the sledgehammer method and ruining two screwdrivers, we were only able to break open two of the ten geodes. Two of the others shattered into pieces eventually but proved to just be regular rocks with no hollow inside or crystals at all.

This is a weighty box containing the geodes, all packed in a cloth bag, a magnifying glass, a set of child-size goggles, two small plastic stands to display the geodes and an instruction book. My grandson was very interested in the geodes but we really struggled to break them open, they just refused to break. A hammer isn’t included and we think the one we had wasn’t big enough, it really needs to be a lump hammer. We did manage to break one eventually , but it was into small pieces, which was a bit disappointing. My grandson did look it up in the supplied book, which is actually quite good. We’re going to try opening the other geodes using a bolster chisel and a lump hammer. A good kit with lots of interesting information.

Amazing results, although tough to open I actually got a good result with one of the larger Geodes.The smaller ones are much harder to open and tend to crumble into smaller pieces.

My son loves geology and he was absolutely delighted when he got these geodes for his birthday.

It was a BD gift for a little girl turning 6. She loved it.
