Fixed up an old Murray mower with a leaking tank that also needed the carb diaphragm pump repaired.Having read the reviews of the plastic tank models and various issues, I wanted a metal one. This thing is nicely constructed.Same as you might see on the other reviews, anywhere for the genre, the bolt tapping on the side is metric, so find a metric M5 x 10,12, or 15 length and should be good to go. You may, as I had to, have to drill out/enlarge (and functionally lower) the bottom of the mower's bracket hole to get a good fit with that same side bolt as it doesn't rise quite as high as the original (1-2 mm will do). I had no issues getting the throttle linkage installed.Added the plug, added gas, couple of pumps (bulb worked fine) and the old beast fired right up!Fast shipping, good quality metal tank, great price.Only 'con': Just know that you might have to do a wee bit of custom work on your mower's side bolt bracket for fit. It's not a biggie.Nice complete kit for old hardware that still has life, and now more life. Metal tank for the win.

I was able to navigate the installation and I'm not mechanically inclined. The issues were: 1) the hole that the throttle pin inserts into was too small and had to be delicately drilled because it is made of plastic and there is not much room from the hole to the end of the piece (maybe an 1/8 of an inch and could easily break), 2) the screw hole for the side mount didn't line up with the mounting bracket by about 5/16 of an inch, and 3) the side mounting screw hole was bored for a metric screw. I was able to fix issue #1 without much problem and have dealt with issue #2 and 3 yet, but it is not a big deal and the large screw in front of the unit is enough to hold the unit in place until I can get to a hardware store to buy a metric bolt for the side mount. This is a great purchase because it comes with a new air filter, spark plug, springs, fuel tank and carburetor (others on Amazon don't include the air filter, spark plug, or springs) and charge the same or more. I also changed the oil and OMG the mower runs like new with 50% more power. As mentioned I'm not mechanically inclined and thought the hassle of replacing the carburetor and fuel tank was going to be beyond my skill or patience level. I found a really helpful Youtube video and would say this is a really simple job. I recommend this product.

Everything seems OK. The carb worked. But......if I wasn't lucky enough to have neighbors with specific tools I would've returned the product and ordered elsewhere. The holes for both of the bolts were way too small. They didn't fit the machine or line up with the fitting quite right. They needed to be widened and angled the best we could. I wasn't impressed. Everything else was great

Fit the older Briggs and Stratton 3hp without any flaws and came with a new spark plug, air filter, springs and air filter cover screw. No issues on first fire up and ran perfect. No issues since for 2 weeks running.

I got it to work on my old craftsman, took a little bit of adjusting but unfortunately carburator is defective and prime bulb stopped working!!
