Sofucor Ceiling Fan with Lights, 52 Inch Mordern Wood Ceiling Fan with Remote for Indoor Farmhouse Bedroom Living Room Outdoor Patio Porch, Reversible DC Motor, Noiseless

My original fan went out in my Master BR - 12x17 ft room. I purchased this fan because I wanted one that could move a volume of air, had a remote, and a DC motor so I could reverse it in the different seasons without involving a ladder. My original was a 52" , 5-blade fan. I was hopeful that this 3-blade 60" fan with 6-Speeds would be a nice replacement. Install was fairly straight forward with easy to follow instructions. DC motor is almost silent really with only the noise from moving air at the top speeds. Love the 3 temperatures of lighting and 4 stages of brightness on each. With the lights out, I still had a slight glow to the light even though it was off. I contacted Customer Service and they recommended that I replace my 3 metal screws that hold the LED panel with nylon ones to correct this issue. I purchased 3 new ones along with nylon washers at ACE for about $0.40 and that fixed the problem. A+ for the fast reply and solution from the Service Department. Perhaps Sofucor should only ship nylon screws for the LED in the future to avoid any issues altogether. Overall the product absolutely meets all my expectation. I only run the fan on #2 of 6 speeds and it moves all the air I need. Customer Service is outstanding in speed to reply. I will consider Sofucor for my future fan needs as I like the sleek, minimal look and quality.

The media could not be loaded.  I was amazed of how light it is compared to other fans. its very light and it makes easy to install. 5 stars for the weight. very easy to assemble and have it up at no time. you prolly spend less than half hour to assemble. easy to read manual. 5 stars for installation. i like the 6 speed and reverse fratures. i can use it both in summer and winter.its super quiet and no wobbling whatsoever. the light is super bright. it has three option for cool, daylight and sunset. its also dimmable. it fits just right in my living room, beautiful and give me great amount of cool air. i would recommend it to everybody that needs the fan. you wont regret. i hope Sofucor make Wifi enabled fan.

So THE FIRST thing you need to know is YOU CANNOT USE THIS FAN WITHOUT THE REMOTE CONTROL.There, I said it.Now, had I known that, or had it been in the description, or had I NOT assumed it would be like EVERY OTHER fan (remote optional), I probably would've passed on this fan. Remotes can be nice OPTIONS (for some), but as the sole means of operation? I don't like it and I don't trust it. Besides, the remote feels like the cheapest thing in the whole box too! This motor may last 15yrs, but the remote is questionable.As for the fan, well, it certainly feels durable. The motor is definitely NOT as heavy as some of the AC fan motors and that's fine, it actually makes installing a breeze. Fan comes with all the bells and whistles need for a clean install, (e.g. oversized cover to hide receiver, a couple of poles for different heights, caps for screws, etc) and the wood blades do a nice job, look very nice and cut the the air smoothly and quietly.Expect to get different wire nuts, the ones provided, while being orange ARE NOT rated for 14g wire! So if you're a 'do it yourselfer' and don't understand this, you would not properly be protecting your wires and risk bare wire exposure, melting from heat and or simple dead shorts. The wire nuts provided are blue rated 18g > (higher the number, thinner the wire) masquerading as orange. Do yourself a favor and go get actual 14g rated wire nuts (Orange or better yet, yellows) and be safe.Again, fan looks nice after install. Mine was balanced perfectly, no shake or wobble, so I didn't need the weights. Biggest concern for me was remote control only. Really annoying only to discover this AFTER install.OH and here's the kicker, I have the fan on a wall switch, so even if switch is turned off with fan running, IT DOES NOT resume operation when switch is turned back on, you MUST grab the remote to reactivate fan. That's even stupider. LoL.Well, I'm going to ride this out. I mean, yeah, it was $240, so I should be completely happy and satisfied, but at this point, I concede. My time is more valuable, the fan is up, it works and it looks nice, so we'll see.Hope it this helps.

We are very happy with the 2 fans that we bought and put into our bedroom. They look sleek and are very quiet. Once we put them up, one worked great. However, when we turned the other one off, the light still had a glow to it. We contacted their customer service department and they were fantastic. The glow was caused by metal to metal contact. They shipped us a plastic piece to insert between the metals which fixed the problem immediately. I would highly recommend this fan.

I bought this fan because of its design and dc motor efficiency. Its beautiful walnut stain finish (real wood by the way) also was an attractive feature. I had a little bit of a problem with the fan control module. Sofucor technical team was able to tell what was wrong and sent me a new module and remote. I had it in a few days and installed it my self (easy fix).It works great. Other features I love about it, smooth start up, 6 speeds are a great feature, reversing is so smooth and speed change is smooth as silk. I highly recommend this fan.

This is an amazing fan. It is beautiful and runs very quietly. Construction and installation were very simple and the accompanying parts are complete. The remote control offers many settings including fan speed 1-6, as well as multiple setting for the light. This was a wonderful addition to our backyard gazebo. Great purchase. Good value.
