Q: I see that the drain and overflow are stainless steel; not polished chrome. Is this correct?

Drain is brass with polished chrome finish, overflow is stainless steel with polished chrome finish. thank you.

Q: Where is the drain located?

The drain is located in the center of the tub...The specs for the tub is in the thumbnail photos that enlarge when you curse over the photo.

Q: Please describe the bathtub drain and pipe. is it an abs system like woodbridge or a cheap plastic and thin corrugated polyethylene hose like veba ?

The hose that was included was a bit flimsy. I replaced it with another that should hold up over time. otherwise, the tub is awesome. I recommend that you use adhesive seal around the perimeter of the tub to prevent movement.

Q: Can this tub be sat inside a large shower stall? Does it need plumbing or can it drain into the shower drain?

The tub can sit in a shower stall, and if your shower is properly slopped, the tub will not need plumbing.

Broken 2x

Ordered this tub and arrived cracked; had it replaced (2weeks later) and 2nd fun also cracked! Do not accept delivery of this tub without opening it to check it’s not cracked.

The tub is beautiful, however

The tub is beautiful, however, the drain stop gasket does not seal and water drains out of the tub. Have been trying to contact the company for a replacement part with no results yet. Working with the plumber who will come up with a solution, at no doubt, great expense to me.
