These are so simple but work!
The media could not be loaded. These are brilliant. My dog had a spinal op 4 months ago and has some lameless in her right paw which means she can scuff the side of it making it sore. These are the solution! Fiddly to put on but I’m sure will get easier with practice but allow her to walk with full allowance of paw movement and protect from scuffing - I actually think it makes her lift her paw higher meaning less scuffs.

An absolute godsend
One of my rescue bulldogs really suffers with his feet. We are currently on a long course of expensive antibiotics for recurring aggressive interdigital cysts. On top of that he has hyperkeratosis on his front pads. My Vet tells me in addition his body has tried to compensate by growing extra pads which as you can imagine aren’t as robust as his original proper pads. They are much softer and therefore more sensitive when he walks. We have tried a couple of the top brands for dog footwear and they all have the same problem of twisting on his foot as one of his paws splays to the side as he walks and we’ve ended up having to take them off on his walks. I didn’t have high hopes of these and the original plan was to fit these over his dog socks so he got the cushioning of his socks with the feeling and flexibility still intact. He set off in his socks and rubber boots very happily , never seen him so quick on his pins however his socks started to slip down and gather at the end of his toes. I had no option but to stop and remove the boots to take off the socks. Not to be deterred I replaced his boots straight onto his paws and expected him to slow down again but he was off again at a pace rarely exhibited in a slightly overweight bulldog.Personally I would like them just a tadge thicker which would suit my needs better however that said my boy is as happy as can be in them and can enjoy way more variety in his walks now they don’t have to be predominantly grass based.Incidentally one of the Vets at the practice recommends these for a variety of different dogs and their needs and I would echo that recommendation. They may appear very tight however they are super stretchy so certainly don’t cut off their circulation.Size wise we got large for our male bulldog, paw width approx 3inches.

Stays on, keeping foot dry & clean.
The media could not be loaded. Bit tricky to get on but definitely stays on, keeping foot dry & clean. I purchased large as my dog is a smaller / working dog breed Labrador Retriever. She cut one of her back paws and it didn’t seem to be healing, so to keep it clean & dry whilst exercising I purchased these. Definitely work - stay on and once she got used to it, didn’t bother her at all. 2nd walk with same boot, so even an hour of running around in rough undergrowth still good for another walk. Pleased with purchase and good to have for future use.

Hard to put on, read my review
They are so hard to put on. I bought two sizes not realising they didn't accept returns for any reason, Hard to take off too but often the only type of shoe that will fit.

Quality has deteriorated. Do noy buy
Probably bought 150 packs over the last 8 years. Really like the product (see the old review below). But the latest batch is really poor quality, tears when stretched (before it's even over the paw) and never comes back from a walk intact. Really sad to see a great product decline like this.I've tried dozens of protective dog boots and most fall off within 10 minutes. These stay on brilliantly - we probably loose one every week (but only after our spaniel has been careering through the undergrowth). They also get holes occasionally, in which case they have to be binned. But they're pretty robust and you can reuse them time again. The only negative for me is getting them on - the instructions suggest have the dog lie on it's back with it's feet in the air - that just doesn't work for us. It's fiddly, you have to stretch the neck of the boot with 2 fingers and use the remaining fingers to guide the paw into the opening, but with a bit of practice and co-operation from the dog lifting it's paw, it's not too bad.

Best dog shoes for IVDD feet dragging
Pawz dog boots have been amazing. We have used them for a few years and are the only dog boots we have re-bought. We use them as my dog has a neurological condition that means he drags his feet on the floor. These protect them. They stay on and although can slip off sometimes, that’s just because we didn’t notice that the shoe slid down the paw. The only dog paw shoe that I think is practical/usable without being frustrating.

far too tight on opening
I bought these, two sizes up from the original size tiny that I purchased for my Pomerainian, the tiny size were far too small. Not long enough to cover full paw and far two tight I thought they would cut circulation in my pups legs. I reported this and got two sizes bigger, bearing in mind In have a 1 yr old Pomeranian (tiny is the recommended size for a Pomeranian). The feel of the product was good and for initial use they were great however after an hour or so I checked my pups paws to find them triple the size and had to keep them off him. I used them on a sand surface and camped away for 3 days, my pup had a claw problem so I wanted to prevent infection and any sand abrasion they might get. I give two stars due to very poor circulation problems.

Very good dog friendly product
Great product. I would recommend these for many reasons for the need to cover your dogs paw. Very light weight but strong and functional. They stay on well.
