In the opening i get incense and a tobacco smell, if you want to smell dark and masculine at the same time then consider picking this up. Would advise to put some lotion on before applying, doesnt last as long as it used to.

Dark musky , and like others have said tobacco like sweet smell . Which is the first hour or two after that it subsides to a floral flowery masculine scent . It lasts a long time , is a heavy sillage , and you don't need many sprays to last all day so a good value
