Cheap and easy fix for pruning tool

These replaced the spring on a set of fiskars pruners. The misalignment of the pruners (broken handle) caused the new one to break same as the old one... but if it hadn't had that problem, the new spring would have been great, so I can't fault the new spring for not solving the other problem...

My wife lost the spring to our garden shears by accident. She went and bought new garden shears before I could look on Amazon. Regardless I ordered these springs and now we have two sets of garden shear. My wife has returned to using old garden shears with the new spring as she likes it better. Some have complained that these springs didn't fit their garden shears so I guess I was lucky as I didn't even check if would fit my brand of garden shears.

I was able to fix a couple garden trimmers. I added a bead of hot glue to hold the spring in place. All working again.

My pruning shears lost their spring; these fit and worked like they were custom-made for my shears. Totally pleased with this purchase!
