This is such a simple thing, but it works. I don't have to worry about putting my bacon into a ziplock bag or it getting slimey or anything. It seems to stay pretty fresh. It fits a whole pack of thick cut bacon and I think its easier to get it out of this container.

Here's a kitchen gadget I didn't know I needed. I can cook a whole package of bacon, eat some, spread out the all the rest from the package on a baking sheet and stick it in the freezer. After the strips are frozen, I load them into this container with paper towels separating the layers. Then I take out a few strips for breakfast, pop them in the toaster oven for a couple of minutes and cool them on a paper towel until crispy warm. Keeps the bacon from crumbling in a plastic freezer bag. High quality. Just a little tough to get the top off when frozen, but if you use your thumb on one of the corners it won't take long.

After years of putting opened packages of bacon into single-use plastic bags (and dealing with lots of grease when opening/closing), I thought to myself, “there has to be a better way”. None of my Tupperware containers were quite the right size for full length strips of bacon but a quick Amazon search for “bacon container” led me straight to this, and I quickly ordered it. The container would easily fit a full package of bacon (the attached picture contains 2/3 a package) and the lid fits snuggly with a good seal. The lid is easy to open when it’s time to make more and it seems to keep the bacon fresh for at least a week. The material of the container and lid was easy to clean. The quality seems good and I’m excited for no more greasy bags!

Fantastic for long veggies. Keep your celery crisp a long time. Keep my asparagus tips firm for 2 weeks. Yet, I can also spread out my brussel sprouts, cherries, grapes, in them. They save so much room, and I can see thru the lid and know whats in them. Stainless steel is a safe metal, unlike aluminum. Getting rid of all plastics at this point.

Who knew such a simple thing could be so handy? I use it to store bacon and it has saved a bunch of plastic bags. It is easy to clean and convenient to have in the refrigerator.

It seems functional. Small in size. It seems to only hold a one pound package at a time. It thought that I would hold the bigger stack packages.
