Used to repair break in 70m External Grade Cat6a PoE fed cable run in -20 degree C. In this harsh environment, fingers get numb fast and cable becomes stiff and brittle if bent around too much. So quick, simple with no fuss is essential and this was the perfect option. The block is the only slight confusion with what initially appears to be a mix of horizontal and vertical pin outs. Ignore this... they are horizontal... but the A/B choice is unnecessary. This block appears to be a standard component used for tool less RJ45 ends where you would typical use A and B on either end. But this is a repair kit that simply needs to be the same pin outs on either side to fix a break. So simply stick with A on both sides. Also, make sure foil shielding makes good contact on the screw fittings.

I could not follow the wiring colours on the connector so in the end i didn’t use it and went with a standard connector. I didn’t have time to call the tech support team as it was late and weather was changing. It’s a shame as it is a good connector.

Forse sono un pelo spessi, io l'ho utilizzato per giuntare un cat.5 (e funziona!) dentro una canalina da 25, ci sta a fatica con altri 2 cavi ethernet ma tutto funziona bene fortunatamente! Buon acquisto

Pour réparer un câble Ethernet. Le produit et son blindage serait parfait si le sertissage des contacts par repoussage des isolants était correct. Cela ne permet de de bien repousser l'isolant des fils d'où de mauvaises connexions sur le câble réparé. Contacts métalliques à revoir.
