Excellent, fun kit to build with decent detail.
My 12-year-old son and i worked on this kit. It is challenging in a fun way. It's actually quite big and has some great details. We hung it up and it looks amazing. it looks better than the Lego version and it's 20x cheaper in price. We built the Star Destroyer, and it turned out awesome. We are excited to try another kit soon.

Bigger and Higher Quality than I Expected
I'd previously purchased the 4D Build model for R2-D2 and was very impressed with the finished results, so I wanted to give this one a try too. I had a lot of fun putting this together and couldn't be happier with the finished model. This thing is BIG...over two feet long...and it has very good detail. It's light enough to easily hang it from the ceiling. I thought that the assembly process of this model was a bit easier and faster than the R2-D2 one despite the larger number of parts (fewer curves simplify assembly). There are a few things worth noting. I did come across 3 or 4 steps where it seemed like either the instructions were ambiguous or one of the pieces had incorrectly sized tabs or holes. Think carefully about the assembly process as you go to avoid problems. They provide a cardboard tool to punch out the slot holes on all the pieces...it is too flimsy and will eventually become unusable. You will want to have some other plastic or metal tool to use instead. I used a set of metal tweezers, and I've seen others mention that a paperclip works well. They provide a small tube of glue to secure pieces though I didn't find it to be strictly necessary to get a good result. The model will hold together reasonably well without it. I would not recommend gluing anything until you've finished an assembly in case you realize a piece needs to be repositioned. I actually held off on extensive gluing until the entire model was complete.

Great for Kids!
This product is great. I usually never buy my kids any type of model kit, but took a chance because the reviews of this were great. We are so impressed. The kids could do most of it themselves. They just needed a little help. The quality of the cardboard is excellent, and the directions are very clear.

Great model and build
These are great for if you cannot afford Lego sets. It's light and easy to move, and very accurate to the screen version. Very easy to assemble and understand the directions.

More fun than I imagined!
I bought this model on a whim, because it had been in my wishlist for a while, and finally came way down in price. It was definitely something of an impulse buy, but after starting my build, I have no regrets.Thicker than card stock but thinner than corrugated cardboard the materials are pretty sturdy. Clear glue is included to strengthen critical bonds, but I haven’t seen a need for it Luther than with the display stand.Definitely worth the $25 price I paid. My 8 year old son and I are about 1/2 way through this model and I’m already looking to get another one.

Fun build
This was my first 4D build. I had a lot of fun building this. Instructions were ok. The engines were by far the most difficult part of the build. I used the glue supplied with the item to make sure the engines were tabbed in properly and to attach to the hull of the ship via the slots.
