Draper 34676 Expert ATV Spot/Broadcast Sprayer, 60L, 12V DC, Blue

Fitted it to my Ransomes mower, works very well, far easier than using a knapsack sprayer..

Bought this because I have a long drive and large parking area. Have used a hand pump version for many years and age has made the pumping more exhausting.This is the ideal solution. I use it on the back of my mower but you wheel it around on a wheelbarrow with a 12v battery.I recommend this to those who seek an easier life.

This is a very useful sprayer for covering large areas in a breeze. Although I don't own an ATV, I have built my own trolley onto which I have mounted the crop sprayer, and I use the sprayer's broadcast lance to spray 3m wide lanes, thus covering 260m2 of lawn in less than 20 minutes, whilst it would take me the better of 1:30 hrs using a hand sprayer. The spot sprayer comes in handy to spray those awkward shaped pieces of lawn that the broadcast lance would overspray. The only negative experience I had with this sprayer was a small crack that appeared on the plastic tap fitting 2 years after purchase without any ill-treatment of the device, which iI repaired with a little bit of epoxy. other than that, this is an overall super practical sprayer!

Good sized tank for doing a large area of lawn. I put mine in a wheelbarrow and wheeled along slowly with the fixed spray nozzle. You can't adjust the rate of delivery as the nozzle has a fixed rate - I guess this is to allow the pump to work without undue strain. Therefore you have to adjust your walking speed to get the correct dose on the lawn. One point, you can connect this to your vehicle battery. However, if you do as I did in a wheelbarrow then you do not need a great big battery. I use a Lucas LSLA7-12 (12V 7Ah/20Hr) valve regulated lead acid rechargeable battery which cost £18 and is about the size of a tub of Flora. I already happen to have an appropriate Accumate charger.

I was looking for a sprayer that I could put on the ride on mower with a decent sized tank. This is just perfect and easy to use

Husband made a bracket on the lawn tractor for the sprayer and away he went. He says it is a fantastic piece of kit and would highly recommend it.

I've not used the item but it looks good quality. I've raised some Q's regarding mounting this on a sit down mower and got some very helpful replies.The reason for my review is PLEASE NOTE: when you open the box PLEASE read the label on the tank lid!!! The box will only contain 3 parts the rest are actually in the tank.Groan ... :)
