Design Essentials Rosemary and Mint Super Moisturizing Conditioner 6oz by Design Essentials

Great product for black hair!

My locs love this conditioner!!! Needs to come in a larger bottle... light and silky on my locs..

I wrote a review on the Design Essentials shampoo which I referred to as a conditioner, my mistake. Both product are fabulous as I used them together, this conditioner made my scalp tingle but was not uncomfortable. It is creamy, that being said, these products are great for Locs, does not leave any residue and one major thing is that the hair does not feel dry when used together especially (that is not to say you can not use on its own) The key to using creamy hair products is to rinse hair well.

This conditioner is absolutely lovely on the hair and smells great! Only downside is I wish it was readily available Salon size in UK along with the other products in the Design Essential line

This item has definitely been used. As soon as I picked it up it felt half empty. There was no covering on it to show that it had not been opened before. When I squeezed it upside down it was half full of air, nothing came out for quite some time. Disappointed.

I use this on my Locs. A little goes a long way! Lathers up real nice. You have to use all three products as Damien Walters says for it to work. Yes you need to condition your locks!! I do notice the difference when my hairdresser doesn’t use it. My stylist doesn’t want me to use conditioner as it unravels my locs some (which it does, but once your hair is locked it’s locked, yes it’s more work for the stylist to go through and section and part, but just charge a little more if it means your clients will have healthy locks. But as he says use very little of it and work it into your hair, because your hair needed moisturization (his word) prior to locking so it will still require it when you’re locked. I purchased the larger sizes of both now. They were sealed when I received them so packing has been updated. As for the moisturizing conditioner yes it looks like it was used. I don’t feel it was at all. I feel it’s more of a design essentials just needs to rethink their packaging for it. Because the weight of product is there, but the jar being so large it makes one feel they didn’t receive all of their product. I now just wash and condition my locs myself prior to getting re twisted. I’m at an agree to disagree, because I did notice a big difference in my re twist when I had my stylist wash it and only the oat Protein & Henna was used vs me washing it twice with that, twice with the Honey Cre’me, and a palm size amount of Rosemary & Mint conditioner then under the dryer for 15 minutes. Should be longer but I personally don’t sit that long. Some said it makes their hair hard, but I haven’t experienced that. First two pictures are a day after a re twist. Third picture is two days after a re twist with using just one product. Last picture is of all the line that I use. It’s worked for me so far in the 4 months that i’ve been on my journey and that’s all I can say about it. Good luck.

Yeah. You read the headline right, I’m shook. This bad boy came in the mail when it was time for wash day. Now I bought it not only for rosemary and mint but I bought it because other reviews mentioned that this is super moisturizing and the product gives you a nice tingling sensation. Now for me personally I do agree with the moisturizing part. This product had me SHOOK by how moisturizing it is,I followed the directions and made sure to smooth the product out with a wide tooth comb and letting it sit in my hair for five minutes. When I rinsed it out I was immediately shocked by how moisturized and soft my hair felt. Unfortunately I didn’t feel any tingling sensation, I was looking forward to that sensation but oh well! All in all I’ll definitely buy this again and look into other products by this company. For reference I am AA with 3c/4a hair type.

The product is amazing!! The formula is great it really helped relieve my dry itchy scalp and would leave my hair soft and easy to detangle. I read some previous reviews and was afraid of purchasing the 32 onz because of the possibility of it spilling, but I was very disappointed when I saw that it had a hole I don't know if it happen during the handling of delivery. But it really makes me think more than twice to repurchase. It would be great if it was in something more secured or resistant like they shampoo and conditioner, I received them in perfect conditions.
