Works so well, we bought two of them. One we kept in the kitchen and the second we kept in the screened in patio space. It works well to catch the small bugs that slip into living spaces and was especially great at clearing up fruit flies and no-see-ums.

Not sure why this isn't rated higher. It works exactly as it says. Catches everything from fruit flies to house flies. The only complaint I have is that they only give 1 sticky pad in the original box. Forcing you to buy refills right out the gate. That's a little scammy, especially for the price.But 5 stars because it is catching flies and I have noticed an improvement in my house. Photo for proof.To the company, give the people some refills and stop being cheap. $20 is more than enough to give at least 5 sticky pads. We are going to buy more regardless, at least give us a start.Just added a new photo. We had new garage doors installed and a lot of flies got in. So we moved this light into the garage for the night and woke up to a full strip of flies...ew..but it worked

Worked great for the first few weeks. Then the uv light started to blink on and off. Contacted the manufacturer and after a month I got a reply stating that I needed to go thru Amazon to log a complaint. Absolutely useless help. I won't leave it plugged in when it's blinking because I don't know if it safe to. It did great until it started blinking on and off.

The only negative about this product I see so far is that it only comes with ONE of the bug-catcher adhesive strips. Seems like you should not have to order replacements right with the initial item! But, that said, it has done a great job getting rid of some pesky small plant flies we have been trying - unsuccessfully so far - to deal with for a while now. So that is a HUGE plus. So much so in fact that we will be ordering another one soon. Along with some REFILLS!UPDATE: After a few weeks with these units (we bought three of them) I now have additional comments. One of the three units started to "blink" on and off. (The blue light specifically, since that is the only outward visual indicator.) I contacted the BugMD Customer support folks to inquire if this was normal or an indicator of something having gone wrong with the unit in question. It didn't take long for that "conversation" to yield the fact that no help would be forthcoming! The folks at BugMD wanted to know my ORDER NUMBER in order for them to help me. (DUH! I bought this through Amazon guys, so pretty sure you won't have an order number with my name and ID info on it.) We went around a couple times via email exchanges where it soon became obvious they were either unwilling or unable to answer such a simple question about their own products operation! Why the mystery, BugMD? And why the evasive maneuvers at answering a simple product operation question? (To be sure, the paperwork that comes with the unit is of no value whatsoever.) When I made it clear that I had purchased through Amazon, they suggested that I take advantage of the very liberal (and simple) Amazon return policy. Which I did. And I already have a new replacement unit in hand and it seems to be working fine so far, but recall that the original first unit started acting up after about 2 weeks of use. So, long story short. these units do indeed seem to do what they advertise. Our three units have caught a fairly significant number of tiny house/fruit flies in the weeks we have had them. Just don't expect any help from the BugMD customer support folks if/when something goes wrong. Just plan on tossing out a defective unit or replacing it via the Amazon return window policy.

Look at the picture I promised. That is not even 24 hours after plugging this device into the wall. I knew I had some gnats in the house but I didn't know it was this many!I was a teeny tiny bit disappointed after I checked the trap 3 hours after I plugged it in. An hour later I checked it again, when I probably should have given it another 3 hours and there were 3 gnats on the trap. We kept checking every hour or so and more kept getting trappedI read this didn't work for some or it only caught gnats. I have vision problems so I can't tell if there are flies in the trap. But for gnats, it works for me! Maybe once a week we'll have a fly come in, so flies aren't the problem.I already ordered more refills but I'm trying to find them cheaper. If you've tried everything, this is relatively cheap enough to risk the try. I was 50/50 about this device but now I'm here, writing to tell yall to buy it!Set up was easier than I thought, and as it should be! You just tear off the sticky pad's cover, slide it into the device and plug it in and that's it!There's nothing more to say, buy it!

Before this arrived on subscribe and save, I grabbed a different brand. Their tape it double sided and it’s covered by a clear shield so you can’t see the bugs on the front, so it gets twice as many. The pic is the first 24 hours. Tis the season…PROS: it does work.CONS: 1)only comes with one sticky pad. Should at least come with one extra since it potentially can get filled the first day. Now I’m waiting for refills from Amazon.2)refills are pricey at 14.99 for like 6. Did find some knockoffs that say they fit that are cheaperAlthough I like it and it works. Just too expensive and I can find a cheaper alternative.

Love these especially in the summertime when fruit flies are too much with fresh grown veggies on the counter. They are descreate while easily tucked into the outlets on our counters & our dog doesn’t get scared by any obnoxious loud traditional bug zapping noises. Win win for all of us.

No more problems with flies, moths etc. This works amazing!
