The kids love this. They fill it over and over again, and love catching the small toys they put in.I am glad that we bought it. It is well used and is holding up since Christmas, with no problems. The kids (ages 7, 6, 4) are able to use it with no help. They are able to refill the toy bin, and retrieve the coins by themselves.

I bought this for xmas for my kids and it's sure to be a crowd pleaser. It's easy to set up and use and comes with coins to make it start. It comes with the option of batteries or a USB cable. It's one of the more gender neutral claw machines I've come across. You can use it with or without the music (with music is obviously more fun), beware that the music is LOUD tho. I got it on sale so the price wasn't terrible. My biggest complaint is I wish it came with toys! I did not realize it was toyless when I ordered it or I might have looked for a different one. Luckily I pulled it out of the box to make sure everything worked properly before I put it away till Xmas and saw there weren't any prizes to win so I had time to order in toys for it.

The first machine I was sent , the chain was broke so the claw wouldn't move. I ordered a replacement and the replacement was not broken , it worked well. My child loves this and plays with it nearly every day. The chain is thin and looks cheap though so I wonder how long this will hold up. I'd recommend a stronger/better chain but other than that, we love it.

I bought this claw machine as a gift for a 10 year old. I tested it before I gave it to him to be sure it worked and would pick up the toys I'd bought for it. It worked ok. The claw was weak and I had to change out some of the toys but the machine was acceptable. I liked that you could use it with or without music and that it worked with either batteries or by USB plug.. . Except that when I purchased D batteries and put the batteries in it - no luck. Nothing. Ok, fine, USB cable it was. Except that it only worked twice with the USB cable before it broke, when you'd put the coins it it would glitch on and then off immediately. I tried different plugs, different usb power adapter blocks (of course it didn’t come with its own) Unfortunately this only happened when my 10 year old nephew opened it and tried it for the 1st time. He was so disappointed and so was I. Over $40 for a piece of junk. Returned and bought a different brand.

We ended up buying two different companies' claw machines and this is the one that consistently works well. It's easy for kids to use and we come up with ideas to keep it fun - for example, filling only some plastic Easter eggs with candy or coins, and then the kids have fun seeing if the egg they got was a "winner".

Edit 8/8/24I figured I'd reach out to the company even though my purchase was past the 30 day return window. The company offered to replace or refund me. I opted for a refund. Thank you. I changed my stars to 3 instead of 1 due to follow up from customer service. Unfortunately, I can't go any higher than that because in the end, the claw machine that I ordered did not work.Original review:This claw machine DOES NOT work. I bought this in May for a specific date in July. I should have tried it out before I needed it because the return window is closed now. So now I am out the cost of this piece of plastic garbage that doesn't work as well as the cost of the plastic balls I bought to fill it with prizes.I'd try a different claw machine if you want one that works because this one is not it.

My dad (94 yrs) is a huge fan, and frequent winner of the regular arcade machine. With power out in the city, he was not able to go to the arcade and play. I surprised him with an Amazon delivery of this smaller model of his favorite game. It can run off of batteries, so electricity was not an issue. He was able to put his smaller winnings from his regular play in this product and continue to have fun, and stay entertained during a very stressful time.He could not find the volume control at first, but once he did, it was not a problem. I also showed him that he can charge with a USB cable to save his batteries. He liked that option.Pictured are his winnings from a regular sized arcade game, that fit into this product. It did come with a few toys to grab as well.

So I got the Claw machine for my 10 year old granddaughter, and now it looks like I'm going to have to buy another! Not for another child, but for the adults in my household! This really is a fun machine. Took a minute to get it charged, but once it got going, that was it! Everybody in the house wanted to play! And they did! It plays carnival music and has colorful lights. As your time begins to run out, the music begins to play faster! It works great, and is a good size. I would recommend this Claw machine to everyone!
