Dosage instructions and type of use: Adults and children over 12 years old: In acute conditions, let 1-2 tablets dissolve slowly in the mouth at hourly intervals, up to a maximum of 12 tablets a day until improvement occurs. Following this or in chronic tonsillitis, take 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Children between 6 and 12 years of age: In acute conditions, let 1 tablet dissolve in the mouth every 2 hours, up to a maximum of 8 tablets a day until improvement occurs. Following this or in chronic tonsillitis, administer 1 tablet 3 times a day. Take the tablets half an hour before or after meals, and allow to dissolve slowly in the mouth. For small children it is recommended to dissolve the tablets in a little bit of water. Frequency of doses should be reduced upon improvement of symptoms and medication should be stopped as soon as symptoms disappear. The treatment of enlarged tonsils should last for at least 6-8 weeks. In chronic recurrent tonsillitis, repeated treatments have been found to be valuable. When the right homeopathic medicine is selected and administered as per the principles of homeopathy, conditions tend to improve within a short span of time.
