Large case, but it is what you expect if you want this type.of protection on your $1200+ device. It even protects the sides of the screen well, which can be hard to find on s23 ultra cases. I am using a film screen protector so I can't comment on how a glass protector would fit. But I know with my spigen tough armor, they gave me issues, so I didn't even try glass with this case. I got the clear version, it's awesome looking because i can see the nice grey/green color of my s23u thriugh it. But I'm sure over time parts of this case may yellow, as clear cases do, so I'm considering also getting the frost (or fog) green version which is clear, but tinted green so yellow may not show as much down the line. It's a solid case. Has a deep camera cutout and has a good amount of material between the phone and the case to protect from drops. With three extra bumper layer really providing protection and holding the front piece in place. Buttons are nice and responsive, and while I do wish they were more pronounced and defined, they are just fine as is. I really don't like the flap that covers the usbc port on the phone. It puts too much pressure on the usb C when it's plugged in. If they designed it to be a separate hinged piece it would work much better, but I just cut mine off completely, as I'm less worried about debris getting in there as I am the stress from the flap causing the usb C port to eventually become loose. The only other thing I will mention is that the plastic used for the clear case may be slightly more fragile than the standard opaque cases of this same model, especially the kickstand part, so just keep that in mind.. Because of the nature of clear plastic, the durability may vary, slightly. Although it definitely seems to hold together well so far after a few weeks. But besides that, its a fantastic case if you really want the best protection for the s23U and the price is good too. It also works with both types of lense protectors, the single slab kind and the individually cut out kind, if that's you're thing.

The sturdiness of the case is the only thing that is mind blowing. Apart from that most of it has issues. The screen guard accumulates dust from the from the front camera opeing. The bumper guard turns yellow. The case makes the overall phone very heavy to handle for small hands. You should get this case if protection of the phone from breakages is the priority for you turning a blind eye to the rest.

UPDATE 4/18/24 The clear color has not yellowed, I do clean it every now and then with a little soap and water, nothing with alcohol as that can cause yellowing. The fingerprint sensor still works and my screen cover still looks good.. The flip up opening for the charging cord is still tight and not tearing like an old otterbox just did (it is old though, like really old, it's on a note 8 old lol) I still almost never use the stand or the "loop" feature but the mechanism still works. If they sold the top piece with included cover separately , I would buy one. I haven't gotten a second case yet but I would! My wish for a camera lens cover hasn't changed but I still recommend this case! I bought this at the same time I got the phone. I usually get Otterbox cases but have been unimpressed with their offerings and the prices. I'm very happy with this case so far...It has 2 front options for you; with or without the screen protector, both use the same back piece. I chose the one with the screen protector because the curved screen protectors (glass) currently available everywhere are pretty much worthless. I was disappointed when I saw the s23 was coming with the curved sides specifically because of this. The case has impressed me; it is sturdy, the sides are grippy and well reinforced at the corners and it has not yellowed as of yet. (It's only been 2 months.) The only problem I've had, as mentioned by others, has been the fingerprint dot. It stopped working after it got dirty when I had to remove the case. I was so disappointed! I read the review about removing the dot but I just cleaned it instead. Yes! it can be cleaned, gently and with lint free material. I use this feature multiple times daily so I really wanted to find a way to fix it and keep the screen cover as it was the main reason I chose this case to begin with. So far the fingerprint sensor is working as intended, if not perfectly. I've dropped the phone a couple of times already and everything is fine; there is enough of a lip/rise to the back that the camera lenses have been safe as well as the screen. My biggest concern is the camera lenses getting damaged in my handbag so I make sure not to put it with anything pokey or scratchy. I wish this had a cover for the lenses like another case on Amazon does. As to the stand, I don't use it often but it does work and is a good angle for both portrait or landscape viewing. It's less stable and wont to tip, in portrait . I also tried it "looped" on my finger but it felt awkward. It's nice to know that is available if necessary but I find I don't have a real need for that at the moment. I have smaller hands and this is a huge phone only made bigger by the case but it is not uncomfortable for me to hold for long periods of time, which I do often. Not anything that impacts my use but something I had to get used to, ithe opening for the charging cord pulls down to insert the cord instead of flipping up as all of my old cases have done. I would recommend this case and I'm considering a second purchase in a different color.
