Quality, Reliability, and usb-c charging
Great flashlight. USB-C charging, THANK YOU!!! I have no idea why anyone is making anything that uses micro-USB, but plenty of companies are. I've had this light for several months and it's never let me down. I love the rotary switch. Easy to use one handed. No long press, double press, press and hold, secret button combo to unlock, any of that crap. Just rotate the switch and it comes on to the desired brightness level. It rides in a side pocket of a backpack while I'm on the road for 2 weeks at a time and used daily. So far it has never come on accidentally. Dust cover for usb-c port can be finicky to remove for charging, but that means it is snug and secure to protect the socket from moisture or dirt. 100% recommend. I would buy again or recommend to anyone. (I bought this with my own money, this is NOT a paid review or free product review.)

Brightness I'd never exeperienced!
Pricey, but the quality and the strength of this flashlight is amazing. I use it every night when I take my dog out for our night walk. Charges quickly holds charge and very bright. Will get a little warm if you leave it on high for a while, but nothing to steer you towards another brand.

Quality light with battery level indicator,100-85%,85-50%,50-25%, 25-1%
It's a good, bright, easy to use/adjust flashlight. I didn't see it in the description, but it does have a "battery level indicator". When you first turn the flashlight on, a "L.E.D." next to the charging port lights up to tell you the battery status: GREEN is 100-85%, GREEN FLASHING is 85-50%, RED signifies 50-25% and RED FLASHING means 25-1%. (This "L.E.D. indicator" shuts off after a few + seconds, so you have to watch for it). I really like having the collar that you rotate to change brightness settings, there is a definite click at each setting, I like this much better than having to click a switch several times to get to the brightness I want. Heat kills electronics; on "turbo setting", you are putting out 3,000 lumens, and you have to get rid of the heat, you can't let it build up inside the flashlight! This light gets the heat out, so you will feel the end of the flashlight get hot, (you want that, that's why Fenix designed it that way)! It does get hot, but you don't just turn "turbo" on and run like that. It's like passing gear in your car, you don't drive down the road in passing gear all the time, you only use it for short burst when you need it, the same with "turbo" (they would call it "HIGH", not "Turbo" if it was just your "HIGH SETTING". The large size #21700 Li.-Ion (5,000 m.Ah.) battery gives it excellent run times and makes it all work, this was the cincher for me to buy this light.

Terrific Light
I did not think that I'd like the Rotary Switching, but now that I'm used to it, it's quite simple and I can switch between modes without taking the light off what I'm illuminating - very nice. Another nice feature is low battery warning. The way it works is that if you attempt to select a lumen (turbo is the highest) and the battery isn't up to the load, the flashlight will give you turbo for a second or two, and then drop back to the next lower setting. There are for intensity levels, one setting that send out a visual SOS, and a strobe setting. The instructions say that it's impact resistant and submersible to IP68 standards. The battery is a 21700. I highly recommend this flashlight!

NICE LIGHT AT THIS PRICE POINT
Product arrived on time and well packaged. I have purchased other Fenix products in the past and have always found them to be a suitable balance between quality, performance, and value for the money. Two thoughts when considering lights like this, First....When they speak of thermal management that generally means that the full output of whatever lumens may only be available for a short period of time before the processor starts reducing output to protect the emitter. That is generally to be expected when a high output LED is utilized. Some more expensive lights may stay at a higher power level longer depending on their level of heat dissipation. Simply stated, read and understand what you are buying. VERY FEW IF ANY thermally managed lights that offer a very high output level stay at that full power level for more than a few seconds. If you need a light for SAR or other purposes that require a high output for a longer period of time you will have to spend more money for what will likely be a larger and heavier flashlight.Second....How well any light fits you depends on the size of the light, its design (Where items like switches are located), and the size of your hand and fingers. This light offers a rotary switch on the head to turn it on, off, or select a power level. But for me with a relatively small hand for a male, it is a bit of a stretch to reach that control surface. I still see value in the light and kept it for certain tasks. For other purposes, like walking our dogs at night where I may need to switch between power levels or to strobe rapidly, I use a light that has the control ring farther back on the body that I can very easily reach and change setting with extreme ease. This IS a good light and I am pleased with it. Your mileage will vary depending on your needs. I would always recommend trying it and if you do not like it...You have the return option open to you.

Battery is good if you don't need much light.
It is brighter and has a longer throw than any of my stream lights.Maximum brightness is short lived. I'd be pretty stoked to see this with triple the length to add some battery to it.

You Will Not Be Disappointed
Always used Fenix lights. Nothing can compare. USB-C charge, bright as hell on the highest setting, have one in the living room for power outages and a couple others in the glove box of the cars. They're great lights and I've never had a Fenix fail on me.I had a PD35 that I had repeatedly dropped on concrete from 10+ feet at a prior job, and that flashlight still works just fine over 10 years later.
