Fard Saffron Brittle,24 oz (1.5 Lb, Sohan Candy)

This is the best quality saffron brittle I have tasted in a can. I wouldn’t by any other than Fard brand. They are the best.

My friend was visiting from Iran and she gave me a tin of this. Since then I've been buying it on Amazon. It isn't my favorite but my husband absolutely loves it.

Have been eating it as a child in Iran for last 57 years. Amazed by freshness of this product, as I just purchased it from local store in city of Qoum, freshly pomade. Brought back 60 years memories of blissful traditional candy experiences. Strong Butter sent is normal for fresh Sohan. Need to breath it, like fine red wine, for 3 days, to reduce the butter sent. Fresh, crunchy Postashu , no bitter taste. Give 4 vs 5 star because Zaferon is missing big time. Extreamly disappointed to taste the real Iranian Sohan without Zaferon, even the cheapest product has the golden color with strong Zaferon sent. The color of Sohan and sent are the indicators of missing spice. This product is brown, with NO, ZILCH Zaferon sent. disappointed, close enough but not same experience. Please correct the product or correct the advertisement, remove Zafferon from advertisement. Cardamon sent not there either.

I purchased a tin of the brittle for my mother as a gift. When I unboxed it today the entire top of the tin was smashed in all the way around. The top was taped to the tin, I'm not sure if that happened before or after the tin got smashed. Other items in my delivery were in perfect condition and the packaging was sufficient, which means that the damaged tin was actually boxed and sent like this. I attempted a return for a new tin, but NO RETURNS on this item. Horribly disappointed. The candy may be great, but I am dismayed at the fact that I was sent a clearly damaged item and have no recourse. I do not recommend. I only gave one star because there isn't a "Zero" star option.

Not cheap but great stuff.
