I really like this foldable bottle, it is well made, works great and I’ve had no issues with it leaking.The bottle has a very secure clear cap, which is tethered to the bottleneck, so you don’t need to worry about it pinging off somewhere when you’re using it, and both the mouthpiece and the screw top are well machined.A clear panel in the bottle allows you to easily see the water level which is really handy, and the ability to attach it via the quick clip to clothes/bags/camping gear is great. Other styles have the clip positioned a little lower, but the HydraMate has it’s in the top corner, which makes it much more user-friendly.The HydraMate comes with a little bottle opener, which is a nice addition. It’s lightweight but really robust and works a treat.The bottom edges of this design fold out to make a flat oval shape so you can stand it upright, something which some other designs don’t have, but it’s equally happy lying flat. I’ve filled the bottle and given it a good squeeze to test it, and all of the seals held up just fine.I like quite a few outdoor activities, and I think this bit of kit will be really versatile. The fact that the bottle rolls up and can be held like that using the quick clip is a neat design, making it nice and compact.Occasionally there’s the concern that this kind of bottle might give an after taste to whatever you’re drinking, but if you wash it with warm soapy water and rinse properly before first use (like the instructions suggest) then it’s totally fine.Being able to roll up and stow this bottle in a pocket, bag or even squeezing it into a gap in the fridge is great. I’m looking forward to taking it out on lots of trips!

This is a great handy bottle - but sadly has developed a leak around the top within a year.

Very light and seal perfectly (but give the pull-top nozzles a good press to secure as they're tight).I use these for everything really - the carabiner is very handy to hang off a belt loop if I'm not carrying a bag, very handy for city tours and you fold it up and takes little room in your pocket when empty.Great for wild camping, hiking and bikepacking, keep them handy and fill up towards the end of the day so you have enough water for the night.These are very tough, and I've had no problems at all with them - no tears or leaks.Drying them out is the only nuisance, but I find if you put them in a warm dry place with the lid removed and upright, it eventually dries out after a day or 2. If you get mould inside, tip for you - denture cleaning tablets work a treat and these will tolerate hot (wouldn't say boiling) water.Also, these fit the Hennessey automagic Rainfly water collectors, which I have with my hammock - oddly for camping, I look forward to the next time I'm camping in the rain to find out how well these work!

I’ve had this water bottle for about 6 months now and initially it was great. However I only use it for day trips infrequently and while the bottle itself has remained sturdy, the bottle cap is no longer watertight. There are more affordable versions of this that I’ve had that have lasted longer.

I take this item travelling with me. I go through airport security with it empty in my backpack and then fill it up on the other side from the tap at the airport. I then refill it day to day while I am out and about from pubs etc. Saves me a fortune on bottled water and saves plastic. Ive used it on more than 10 trips now and it doesnt leak at all. Compltely flat when empty so takes up zero space in your luggage.

Concept is good but the brittleness of the plastic especially at seams means it's not sturdy at all which makes it useless for a hike.

All the stellar reviews. Honestly, couldnt tell you what all the fuss was about. The top is flimsy, easily opens up and it leaks. For the price i would expect more quality.Update: I must say that the seller of these bottles is fantastic. Really helpful and will do everything to make sure that you enjoy the product. The price, apparently, is because of the huge Amazon fees. Anyway, they sent me another bottle and it seems that i initially had a defective one. the bottle no longer leaks. I would still say that the quality isnt great for, say, stuffing in your snowboarding trousers while your on the hill. It wont stay shut for that. However, ive given mine to the misses and she uses it when shes out and about with the buggy and its not oging to get thrown around too much so no chance of opening.

I took this bottle with me on a month-and-a-half long walking trip as a more portable addition to the hydration pack in my rucksack. It is a great concept, the carabiner is a great addition and allows you to fold the water bottle up into it and can attach it when fill you a bag to free your hands up. It is super lightweight and compact once folded.There are a lot of cons though. It is made of cheap materials in a non-sustainable way. Definitely not designed to last. The mouth piece has a similar feel to a disposable plastic water mouthpiece and doesn’t close properly. I have had several unfortunate incidences of leaking water. The plastic around the bottle is starting to peel and the carabiner has already broken and doesn’t close properly anymore. The plastic is feeling quite worn in places and I won’t be surprised if it splits.I bought this bottle to be more eco friendly and as a good lightweight travel option but I will be checking out competitors as I now need a new one as it has not lasted well at all and I want a product that will last a long time without breaking.

The bottle was great for travel, relatively easy to clean and easy to hang on a bag. But started leaking after a few months near the seals. The seller claims that this can happen, refunded me 50% (asking me to buy it again and recycle the cap and carabiner) but I am still left with a broken bottle. Seller does not want to adhere to the EU consumer rights for warranty.

Für ein Festival gekauft (ist mittlerweile sogar erlaubt) und überall mitgenommen, schön klein für eine Bauchtasche und wenn Sie befüllt ist super mit dem Hacken an der Bauchtasche außen oder an der Hose befestigt. Klasse Erfindung. Seit dem mein Begleiter auf Festivals.

Les gourdes ne sont pas étanches, fuîtes au niveau de la soudure entre plastique souple et goulot. Je les ai renvoyée!
