A simply elegant and unobtrusive design that blends in well with any decor. Even on the highest setting, the fan is surprisingly quiet, though a lower setting is available if required.It is certainly effective at extracting the moisture out of the air judging by the amount of water I empty out of the collection chamber each day. The recepticle simply slides out from the back of the unit to be emptied, then slips back into position with a reassuring click. A hose is supplied for automatic continuous emptying if you can site the unit near to a suitable drainage point but, if I make sure the unit is emptied before I leave home, I can come back more than 12 hours later and the unit is still operating without being full. If the collection receptacle does fill up, an alarm sounds and the unit will switch itself off until the unit can be emptied saving you from any flooded floors.Very easy to set up and operate - pretty much works straight out of the box. I have it set to a particular humidity level and it switches itself on and off as needed to maintain that level all day.The only thing I have not yet had the chance to check is the power usage. I have had it on constantly since it arrived so it will be interesting to check the next electricity bill to see how much additional power it has used.All in all I am very happy with this dehumidifier at such a bargain price.

I’ve marked it down to 4 as the instruction book isn’t good enough (for me anyway). When I unpacked it the filter fell out and it took me ages to work out how to put it back! Also the buttons aren’t that easy to use. However it works, is fairly quiet and should be economical to run ( I’ll not know that for certain just yet). Seems to be a good machine for the cost.

Only used it for 24 hours so far but it appears to work really well, quiet even on high speed fan, and no problem emptying the water tray, no leaks.Buttons are a bit difficult as completely flat and not very sensitive.The instructions seem to be pages of all the risks /dangers of the product before you get to the set up. About 3 pages in it says if tilted more than 45 degrees then let it stand for 24 hours before use....unfortunately mine was delivered upside down and no note on the box to indicate which way round it was.Great, effective dehumidifier so far, very pleased with it

Surprisingly small dehumidifier which does the job perfectly.Quite heavy considering the size of it.Bought to draw out the moisture from the room when drying clothes indoors over the winter.

This is an effective dehumidifier. My only criticism is that the water tank is a bit fiddly to remove, and thus easy to spill water out of in the process. Otherwise I would give it 5 stars.
