We ordered this awhile back and have yet unable to work it. We spent a lot of money on purchasing the sim card but could not get it to charge, so the unit is useless & the instructions do not add any suggestions on how to get it to charge or work or who to call to get help.

This is a pretty slick device! I highly suspected my wife was cheating on me...I had asked her a few times about various things and got very vague answers and I've always trusted her but wow...she wasn't very clear on what was up. I placed this in a spot on her car and tracked it for a couple weeks and it is amazingly accurate and I'm really impressed by the ability to listen, and follow with the app. After a short while, I tracked my wife to a crochet group that she had be secreting. She's 40 and was ashamed to be caught at a crochet group because "she's too young". The good news is, she not hooking or shagging anything but yarn, which is a relief but she's pretty sore at me for using this device as I did. But it WORKS great! I'm now using it on my dogs jacket. It's lightweight, has a really good long lasting battery life and I can put it on his lightweight safety jacket for tracking him when we are out. If you're familiar with most tracking systems for dogs, they require subscriptions and they are rather expensive. I want to use mine only part time and don't need it in place all the time and this really saves me a subscription and works well. It doesn't have a range limit either which most pet systems seem to have. This doesn't limit me to having to be within a short distance of my dog. He never goes too far when we're out hiking fields, but it is nice to know exactly where he is and I can use it at other times too if I worry that he will run away, etc. I don't think he ever would but I'm definitely going to be using this when on vacation with him. I know that's the time when strange things like this happen and you lose your pet. But with hiking in the fields and trails, I can track him if he scurries off on trail of a rabbit through high grass or into an adjacent field when the rabbit does a big loop. I can keep an eye on him if he goes off track too and have an idea at all times knowing where he is. I'm pleased with this tracking device, especially for the money. I was considering getting a few to put on the business van too, not for spying but rather having an exact location of where they are on their route, that saves me the effort of interrupting them with calls or texts when updating customers. This is a great little device!

I was dumb enough to buy two of these things and wait an eternity for them to come from China only to find out I can't use them. They are not GPS trackers. They use cell service. Well that's useless to me in an area WAY out of cell range. AND the instructions are equally as useless. I had to go to a youtube channel to find out how to login to the app which is how I discovered my complete blunder and waste of money. Now I have to shop around all over again to find what I need.

Updated review: turns out customer service was very helpful and I just needed an updated micro SIM card. They actually provided me with the information for the correct card and helped me set it up. The tracker now works like it should and still has small hiccups that they are working through. But overall I would definitely suggest this item if there is something or someone you want to keep tabs on! Also here is the best contact for the customer support as others said they were unable to get the support they needed.Technical help email: [email protected] have to agree with other reviewers. The app does not give the option for US American language setting and half the app is in Chinese. It did not originally say that you needed a SIM card with a monthly subscription to utilize the device. I had a sim card and a free line of service from T Mobile so I used that. However if I had to pay a device charge, I would have sent this back. Please be aware that you will need a SIM and monthly service to use this device.Also it appears that you will need to charge it every two to three weeks. This makes it tough to leave it on something and forget about it. And if the cell service drops, that is where it shows the location of the device. Not real helpful if you live where there is minimal service or travel to where there is not service.Not a great deal overall.

Bought this device to track an eBike for a special needs teenager. The first one I received would randomly go offline and could not be commanded to awaken so I returned it for a replacement. The second unit behaved better but it took a fair amount of back and forth with "Kevin" via WhatsApp to get enough technical assistance to get the device working the way I wanted and expected. The main issue is a lack of thorough documentation. Programming can be done via SMS but when I asked for a complete list of commands, parameters and an explanation of each, Kevin sent me an Excel spreadsheet with only a few basic commands. The second issue is data security. All tracking and voice recording goes to a server farm located in Hong Kong according to Kevin. This is a China-made device sold by a Chinese company. You the buyer needs to decide if that's ok or not. The third issue is the mobile app and the web interface to track and control the device. The web I/F has more features than the app and is generally easier to use but again no documentation, not even help text so you have to figure stuff out on your own. Some basic setting options don't exist, for example changing kilometers to miles and kph to mph. Also, at least one screen (the SIM screen) is in Chinese even when the language selection is English.I do appreciate Weershun tech support's quick response time and Amazon's easy replacement process.It's too early to tell if this device will give me the accuracy and reliability I want so I will add an update in a few weeks.UPDATE: The replacement unit also went offline randomly with no way to wake it up. Returning for refund
