They seem a bit thin for restaurant use. I have a couple of Rubbermaid polycarbonate commercial food bins that feel thicker and they come with lifetime warranties so feel more comfortable using them to store food in the freezer. One useful trick with most things is to knock on all side of it to hear if there's a pinging or thud type sound. The latter usually means thicker.I'm returning these.
