Strong, vibrant colour and easy to use
Great colour and easy to use. I dyed a cotton jacket and transformed it! Really pleased with the end result and very affordable.

This Works!
Tried it for the first time this past week - & it works! Used the 'jean blue' colour on a 20-yr old navy-coloured sweatshirt (that had lost its colour & was very patchy/faded looking) & a brand new black stonewash denim jacket. Bunged both of them together in the washer & the results are impressive - the navy sweatshirt now has a uniform & even navy colouring & the denim jacket is now a deep indigo. Followed the instructions on the packaging & no harm was caused to the washing machine - no stains etc. Will be using in the future again for recolouring clothes instead of throwing them away.

Relatively easy process to upscale jeans!
Whatever I’m doing wrong each and every pair of my coloured chinos prematurely wears in one place. It doesn’t matter if they’re expensive or cheap, they all suffer the same fate I.e. going to the ragging yard despite being 90% ok but the 10% makes them unsightly and unwearable. It was suggested I tried Dylon. Without raving about the end result my chinos are simply look like brand new and the only difference is the pockets which have been dyed also. The process is quite lengthy if like me you follow the instructions to the letter. My washing machine was running in the various cycles including cleaning and cold water rinses no load empty - for just over 6.5hours. But my partner has a device for measuring the electricity consumed by the washing machine and the actual cost was just under 4 units of electric. So combining with the cost of the Dylon I got a newly refurbished pair of chinos for less than ten quid, ok it’s a wee bit of hassle because your washing machine is tied up for the duration of the dying and subsequent cleaning cycles (so that your lovely whiter than white garment doesn’t have a tinge of unwanted colour). But for me that simply means I save money on buying new, on driving to the shops and environmentally good by prolonging otherwise good clothing.

Very effective dye.
I bought a lovely white top and then split chilli con carne on it. It faded in the wash but still made the top unwearable. This dyed my top evenly and the stain completely disappeared. Very happy.

Not denim blue but deep, darkest navy
The colour is deepest navy! So not jeans blue. I dyed a denim jacket the was denim blue the same as the colour on the dye pod. It dyed very evenly but now is such a dark navy, it almost looks black. Very disappointing

Perfect dye quality, perfect colour.
This stuff is golden, I believe in recycling where possible so I buy charity shop jeans (I’ve found Boss, Levi 501’s etc….) and this stuff turns them into new looking strides! Well worth it, recommended to me by a friend and he wasn’t kidding…Always suggest washing only two pairs at once for full coverage and wash again after dying to rid the possibility of cross-staining.

Have used this twice for a bunch of things that were white and also for a royal blue pair of sneakers. Everything turned out great. Including the shoes (didn’t dye the white rubber at all). Have used lighter color dyes by same brand with splotchy results but this color ends up very even and a great not quite navy—a little lighter and not too intense dark blue. A caveat: most threads didn’t dye since they are manmade fiber, but I still like the look.
