Maikai iPhone SE, 5S & 5 Shock Proof Heavy Duty Builders Workman Case Cover with built-in Screen Protector - Black

This entire cover is a lookalike of the Otterbox phone cover but not as well constructed. However, for the price the construction was acceptable. However, there were two issues that I have with this phone cover.Firstly, a piece of felt had been glued to the plastic back to cushion the phone when inserted. The glueing was not at all well done and once the phone was inserted stopped the two halves of the case from closing fully together. I fixed this by pulling the offending felt section away from the back piece and cutting it with scissors: I should not have to do this !The second issue with this case is the front perspex cover, Once assembled everything looked fine indoors. However, take it outside and you notice that the screen is quite dull and you need to boost the brightness of the phone to maximum to see the screen. I suspect it is marketed as a matt perspex screen to avoid light reflection from the screen. All it succeeded in doing was to make the screen almost illegible.I decided to re- purchase this item as my old one got worn. On delivery, I discovered that it was not the same as the previous model as it had been adapted for the fingerprint reading on the Home button. In doing so the entire bottom portion was removed that upset the whole balance and feel of the unit.I went back to my old (worn) case as it fitted in the palm much better.

I have to wear steel/kevlar type boots for my work. They protect my feet from anything that could damage them.This case is the same as them....bit clunky and robust but Blinkin good. Happy to recommend it to any sceptics out there.
