Good quality coil air hose
This is way better than the cheap PVC or nylon hoses at the big box. (There are good nylon coil hoses, but they're most useful in a production shop. There's no such thing as a good PVC air hose.)Working length is 60-70% of hose length, so a 10' hose has a comfortable reach of about 6'. Beyond that and you're fighting it.Best for use with a small portable compressor, where it's easier to bring the compressor to the job than drag a long airline around. Filling tires, trim carpentry, stuff like that.Good abrasion resistance.Okay as a bench hose, but very vulnerable to solvents, sparks, and heat guns/soldering irons/torches.So probably not the best option there. The couplers are okay, standard 1/4" MPT fittings on the hose ends, so it's easy enough to swap on higher quality couplers. One feature lacking that some pricier hoses have, is reusable end fittings, which make it easy to customize or repair the hose.

Lightweight and curls back up
Needed something easy for a desktop air hose. I don't expect this to last forever but wanted something that would curl up out of the way. If you stretch it out it sometimes twists back funny like the old telephone cords.

Works well
My husband uses this recoil air hose with the compressor machine, and it works just fine. It extends far and when we are finished with it, it recoils back into the same shape as before. It is lightweight and easy to store on the shelf.

Nice Shorty Hose For Around the Garage
I like these light duty hoses for around the garage tasks like blowing off something or filling tires. I never had one of these perm-coil style hoses but thought I'd give it a try.All of the fittings work well even with my other couplers which is a pleasant surprise. The only thing I changed is I like a quick release on each end instead of the male fitting which it came with. Maybe I'm doing it wrong (I really miss the comments feature on reviews!)One thing to note is the male and female fittings are plated steel, not brass. However the femaile threaded ends of the hose itself are brass (or at least they are not magnetic.) They almost fooled me.A nice addition to the garage. Give it a shot.

Short length but good quality
Overall: this is a great hose! This coiled air hose is the same substantial diameter as what you find in your local home center. It is NOT the cheap small diameter hose you sometimes find. I have using this hose for the last week, while building some shop cabinets, and I haven't had any issue with the connectors leaking air, hose kinking, etc. One thing to be aware of is that the description says it's a 10ft hose; however, just be aware that the 10ft length is if you fully straighten out the hose. Otherwise, as you can see in my photo, the hose comfortably rests at about a 3ft length and will easily stretch to 6ft. Beyond that, and you will be pulling pretty strongly. That's not a negative, just a statement of fact. This shorter length works well for tabletop use, when you have your airline run along the rear of the work table.

Perfect for a small home workshop
I've used many different airhoses during my time working, and I have to say that this item is ... well... it's as good as any other that I've tried. It's made of a nice tough plastic material, which particular type of plastic I really don't know but it was probably in the description, regardless this type of plastic is very resistant to compression, kinks, stary nails (errm, only a few times) yet still it remains flexible enough to reach my small inhouse shop without problem. It is also flexible enough to maneuver around a number of obstacles such as my chair, the printer, the cat, especially the cat who appreciates it as a cat toy. Won't chase anything with wings but will harass this to no end. The connectors are smooth and free of obstructions, so changing tools is a breeze.Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend it to others? Yes.
