********** (10 stars)I purchased one for me & one for my daughter. We both LOVE them. Crows are definitely one of my most favorite animals due to the fact that I grew up with a pet crow. To say I am pleased with how well this holds my hairstyles is an understatement. They are very functional, easy to use & are of a very durable quality. The do seem to be metal, not resin & the texture & design is very pleasing.

The hair pins have a substantial weight to them. There detail of the design is crisp. As the pins are metal, this should prevent the tines from breaking.

I would be buying more. I love these hair pins. Their mettle, not plastic, perfect for self-defense if needed. They are perfect to put in your hair Very satisfied. And I loved how they came with 2 instead of one.

Gorgeous pins. The design is every bit as lovely as it looks online. Absolutely worthless for holding my hair though. They are way too heavy so gravity is constantly trying to do it's thing. The weight makes them uncomfortable to wear after a while. They are super long compared to other French pins. If you have really long thick hair if might work, but they are not functional for shoulder length hair.

These are beautiful! They are durable and comfortable! I have long thick thick hair and they hold all of my hair in my tight little bun! Very easy to use! Love them!

Very well made and ideal for thick hair. I have medium length hair that is layered and I found no issues using these. Excellent value and I'll have years of use from this. Not so heavy that you'll notice and holds hair tight. I found it easy to hide the sharper ends and tuck them under into the bun.

Pros: heavy duty, more similar to the kitsch version than the Kristen Ess version (though that one has its place if you have finer hair I guess).Cons: mine has a weird shard of metal jutting out, a manufacturing defect, and actually getting a little moon to stick out of your bun at the perfect angle is a bit harder to style than I had given thought about so I don’t wear it too often.Good value I guess for more adventurous fashionistas.
