It’s exactly what I thought it would be

Worked perfectly, it insulated the bare roof, just used rubbing alcohol first, the peel & press. The roof Sounds like its made of Cement now, and will be cooler in the summer. The metal tape included was an added benefit and really made it look perfect. Highly recommend, and get that metal tape too.

Lowered both the heat and sound in the cabin from just a storage area in a 65. One pack covered both sides in the storage well.

Good value, seems to work well. Used it to cover the roof of a vehicle. Definitely made the wind from the roof rack less noticeable. Less overall noise in the cabin of the vehicle.

I ordered this 400mil soundproofing foam because i saw that it came with aluminum tape and plastic trim panel removal tool. After installing about 8 sq ft, I realized that the package was completely missing BOTH the aluminum tape and plastic trim removal tool. The sheets of sound proofing themselves are not very strong, and when using a metal roller, it tends to give parallel to the surface as opposed to actually rolling down, which seems to reduce adhesion. In terms of road noise reduction, i paired it with kilmat, which is a decent combination, but not as good as I hoped. Due to the average product quality, and false advertising, I am giving this product 1 star. I would hope for everything that the listing says it includes to be in the box

These square sections of sound deadener work out pretty decently with placing around the trunk area to reduce outside noise, just peel and place. A bit more tolerable blocking out the exhaust and outside sounds.

Used sections of this material to help soundproof/insulate my classic car. The Aluminum wasn't quite as thick as some of the other soundproofing materials I also used in different parts of the cabin, but as others have stated in their review, very sticky and the adhesion is a one-off, so correct placement is key. We will see how well the aluminum/tin backing holds up to heat and wear and tear, but looked good on the day of install.
