This doesn't work at all, I bought one for my brother as well.

Need to wear 24x7 for 30 days. The Velcro let’s go very easily when moving around. The material does not hold the Velcro loop very well. I pinned on a piece of actual Velcro soft pad and that helped. The overall usage otherwise is is good.

Makes the maddening burn tolerable. If you've felt it, you understand the value.
