The original Hairspray teaches you how to do the funky chicken and whisks you back in time to Baltimore in the 60s for kaleidoscopic mixture of dancing, romance and TV shows. Female Trouble is the earliest of Water's films in the set, and is as raw as they come as we follow the misadventures of a teenage runaway who gets mixed up with a kooky pair of beauticians who like to take pictures of girls committing crimes. The set is finished off with Polyester where Water's imagination once again runs riot as we see a housewife's world fall apart as she learns the truth.
