If you know how to mount the Arlo cameras then mounting the solar panel is no sweat. I mounted it, plugged it in and it was working immediately. Great little solar panel. Going to order another for another Arlo camera.

Hit or miss if the panel and set up you grab out of the box will work. Arlo Ultra is the brand I have. Some of the parts didn’t function as well. I’ll be returning these to get the Arlo brand today. Don’t waste your time like I did.

I’ve read the reviews of it not charging or barely!! I realize if you fully charge the Camera, THEN add the solar charger, it will MAINTAIN that charge! I installed 2 1 @ 50% the other 75% full. The one @50 gets direct Sun for maybe 3-4 hours but will still charge without it!The one in the back gets more and even on a bright cloudy day it show’s charging! I’m going to take them down fully charge and monitor from there…but for now I see it’s maintaining the charge!! It’s low wattage makes that the issue!!

These are great. I was skeptical based on some of the negative reviews, but I bought them anyway. They’ve been great so far. Make sure to charge the cameras to 100% first via the Arlo included (with your cameras) charger, then hook up the panels and they’ll stay charged. The lowest I’ve seen them go is 92%, on highest video quality in a high activity zone, and that’s only at night. Right back to 100% the next day. Awesome!! Highly recommend!

It took some playing around to get the light to hit them right, but now they are doing what they are supposed to.
