Amazing quality
I LOVE THE PAPER! It's not that cheap kind of paper! It is a carefully crafted paper that doesn't scratch on your hand, its smooth as silk! It absorbs color so well and it also doesn't smudge or bleed through! Even if you use sharpies! I love this brand and will buy from them soon!

Quality buttery smoothness.
I love love love the paper smoothness, this is quality paper in each page. No ghosting even with fountain pen. The pages are crisp, pen to paper is buttery smooth.Well worth it.This is my first intro to Campus and I am definitely impressed. I have heard before to go with Campus but I didn’t want to spend a tiny bit more. This time I did and I am very happy. The quality is excellent of the notebook on this simple level of notebooks.Impressed so much that I will more than likely go on to a more permanent set of Campus products. Not saying these are not permanent! This was my very first sampling.I occasionally write in fountain pen with very permanent inks. I didn’t get any ghosting at all!I ordered a stack for regular writing with ballpoint or Signo’s for my Physics notes. When adding an ink test with fountain pen inks — no ghosts in existence. This may vary on your variables of ink and pen type but I was more than impressed with the smooth writing experience on all pen types. Recommend for a notebook that you’re going to need access to in your future. The binding appears to be strong. The paper is high quality and for this price I will keep more of them around.

Good value
Great paper. Great price. May be a bit slick for some, but it’s nice for fountain pens. No problem with bleed through for me.

I love these notepads. I use gel pens, and it does not bleed to the opposite side of the paper. I also like that it is completely flat highly recommend.

Close to Being My Ideal Notebook for Journaling
Journaling for me is a way of disconnecting from screens and doing something analog, rather than what I’m writing about per se. So, as I have now filled multiple notebooks, I started looking for something not exactly disposable, but that I wouldn’t need to feel so precious about, yet still offers a good writing experience.Enter the Kokuyo Campus Notebooks. I have some of the (much pricier) Kokuyo auxiliary notebooks which are amazing, but 10x the price. Could these offer a similar writing experience at a more reasonable price point? After filling up one complete notebook, I would say… almost. Here’s what I like:- The paper is bright and smooth and is a pleasure to write on. Probably the smoothest paper I’ve tried so far.- The paper seems to have some sort of coating, so even though the notebook as a whole is light and thin, the paper is generally well behaved with fountain pen ink with no bleed through or noticeable ghosting.- Flexible, lay-flat bindings that make it easy to access the whole page while writing: no running into the margins here.So what prevents these from being perfect? Feathering. With most inks it just made the line look thicker on the page (feathering only really apparent under magnification). However, on some parts of multiple pages the coating seemed to be missing altogether, particularly towards the margins, resulting in visibly significant feathering and blurring. It didn’t happen on every page, nor along the entire margin when it happened, but often enough to prove distracting, and enough to deduct one star.I’ve still got two notebooks to go from this tri-pack, but will take a break to try other notebook options that I’ve purchased. These are still near the top in terms of overall value from what I’ve tried so far, but the hunt continues.

Most satisfying value for money fountain pen notebook
Although not explicitly designed for the following feature, the Kokuyo campus notebook plays very nicely with fountain pen inks. Inks display shading and vibrancy without discernible feathering. Bleedthrough or ghosting is also acceptably good with this notebook. Granted it won't hide strokes on the other side like a Tomoe river or Clairfontaine, but it costs less than half per page and is still very readable on double sides. I'm very happy to have bought this to pair with my fountain pens.
