Good Quality but Runs a Bit Snug
These are good shorts that look great, but they were slightly smaller than I was expecting. The shorts themselves have a soft, light material that makes them comfortable to wear for long periods of time, and they also don't cause me to overheat when taking long walks. The shorts also have deep pockets to fit anything you may need such as your phone, keys, wallet, etc. My main issue with these shorts is that although they are easy to put on since they don't have a button or zipper, I find that the elastic in the waist band does not offer much wiggle room for expansion. To me, the waistband was a bit tight and left an impression on my waist, and I just wish they were a bit looser. They are still comfortable, but they fit more on the snug side than my traditional shorts. Overall, while I like the design and quality of the shorts, you may need to size up.

Excellent quality and CK style
These Calvin Klein poplin shorts look simple and basic, with an understated, minimalist style. The soft cotton fabric feels relatively thin and lightweight, but fairly durable. They’re breathable and dry out fairly quickly, but they aren’t very stretchy. The two side pockets don’t have zippers, and they’re a tad bit shallow, but sufficient for keys and a phone. There are two front thigh pockets with zippers, they’re large enough to barely hold an uncased iPhone. There’s also a single zippered right back pocket, with a nice Calvin Klein tag logo directly above it.They seem to be very well made and of high quality. I’ve found these shorts to be quite versatile, stylish enough for casual wear, or poolside lounging, but durable enough for workouts or runs. The seams have held strong during squats and sprints alike. They’re very comfortable to wear, and the overall quality is well above average. The fit is true to size, slightly relaxed, not too tight, not too baggy. The inseam is relatively short, wearing a few inches above the knees, high on the thighs. The elastic waistband doesn’t have a drawstring, but it holds the shorts up well, even with weight in the pockets. The black color looks vibrant and sharp, the shorts pair well with almost any shirt.I really like the look and simplistic style of these shorts. At just under $80, they’re more expensive than comparable shorts from some other brands. The excellent quality and CK style may very well justify the price. They’re certainly an option worthy of consideration. I’m very pleased with these CK shorts and I recommend them, especially when on sale.

Nice shorts, the waist could stand to be more adjustable
The shorts are pretty high quality overall (and have a higher price to match) but they feel pretty premium, too. For the most part. The waist is a little tight even when I loosen it as much as possible. The waste just feels way too rigid for a type of shorts like this. It's not so bad I can't wear them, but they can get uncomfortable, especially after eating. So quality-wise, they're fine. If you have a smaller waist (I'm around a 32 and got a medium) you'll probably be fine with these. If you're on the larger end of a size, the waist will probably feel uncomfortably tight after a while.

Not worth it.
I'm quite disappointed with the Calvin Klein Men's Poplin Short in the Black Beauty color, size Medium. Black Beauty is an overstatement because they are not jet black, and the color lightens easily.Regrettably, these shorts have left much to be desired in terms of comfort. The material is surprisingly stiff, making them far from enjoyable to wear. Moreover, their tendency to gather dirt easily has added to the frustration. The lack of stretch in the fabric compounds the issue. Activities that involve a lot of movement become quite uncomfortable due to the restricted range of motion. Additionally, the shorts' thickness makes them ill-suited for summer wear, as they tend to trap warmth, resulting in an uncomfortable experience on hotter days.In summary, the Calvin Klein Men's Poplin Short in Black Beauty, size Medium, has been a disappointment. The uncomfortable material, lack of stretch, and unsuitability for warm weather have collectively led to an unsatisfactory experience. If you prioritize comfort and versatility in your shorts, I'd recommend exploring other options.

Great looking shorts
These Calvin Klien poplin shorts are awesome and fit great. They fit true to size and have a shorter 5" inseam. They're a smooth tight weave cotton material, they're slightly stiffer than my other shorts, are a medium weight thickness and are very comfortable. Great quality poplin shorts.

Nice shorts
These men shorts are from the Calvin Klein brand. They are button and zipper free with their pull on elastic waist. They have plenty of pockets to side pockets to pockets on the file area that have zippers and a single right zippered pocket on the back side. They have a bit of a short inseam but nothing too crazy. They are comfortable and can be worn around the house to relax in or worn out. I took one star off, because even though I realize they’re Calvin Klein brand, I’ve found the same quality in a $15 pair of shorts.

Decent, stylish shorts
These are a decent pair of shorts by a well-known and respected brand, Calvin Klein. I like the style, but they fit a little too snug for me and I ordered my usual size. The length is a little shorter than I would prefer, too, but I may still wear them occasionally.
