Very good value!
Bought as an alternative to the Elgato Multi-mount. As long as you keep your expectations rather low, you’ll be happy with this. Here’s a few key things to understand before you buy this:It’s a lot shorter than I had anticipated. It’s a LOT less sturdy than the multi-mount from Elgato. I’d only consider using this for a webcam (DSLR or mirrorless camera) if my rig was small and light. The typical Sony A6000 + Sigma 16mm f/1.4 should be okay. You’re going to need a ball head and maybe an adapter to fit said ball head if using for a webcam. If you’ve ever used a REALLY cheap light stand, like maybe one that just comes with a light you’ve purchased, this is on par quality wise with those.I use this for a ring light stand and it works great for that. I think overall this is a great value. Just understand it’s weaknesses and be reasonable with your expectations of a $20 desk mounted stand!

With a couple of modifications it's perfect
I'm using this product to desk mount a Canon M200. The mount is literally a metal stick with one 1/4 inch thread at the tip, and a generous sized desk mount at the base (see attached pictures for reference)The arm itself is rather short and only has one extension point. It would be nice to be able to extend this up to 24 inches. The arm is sturdy, hollow metal construction. At the tip of the mount, you have 0 ability to change the angle of your device forward or backward. The angle of your camera will be dead straight if you attach directly to the mount. If that's what you want, then this product is perfect for you. If you're like me and want to be able to have more control over the angle of your camera, here's what I did to modify it.Buy a "GorillaPod Arm Smart for Vlogging, Mics and Lights" for $10, and a 1/4 inch coupler from your local hardware store for 50 cents. Attach the coupler to the tip of this mount, the GorillaPod arm to that, and you'll have functionality that rivals other 100 dollar DSLR mounts.I've attached some photos for reference. All in all with a little creativity I got this thing to do exactly what I wanted it to do. Considering the price I believe this product deserves a 4 star rating. I would consider increasing the rating this arm included a small adapted that allowed more range of motion for cameras and other devices.

It's super convenient as once you mount it, you can leave a light on it for quick access.
So I've been invited to participate in a podcast recently and it would take me a few minutes to setup a couple of lights every time. After a couple of times, I wanted something that would be on my desk permanently.I attached this mount stand to the back of my desk and have been using it to hold the main light, with a fill light mounted on a 6 inch tripod at my desk.I'd highly recommend getting this mount stand if you're regularly participating in zoom, or any kind of video, meetings or if you need a permanent light setup at your desk.

Sturdy, Durable and the Right Price
I got this light stand to hang a soft LED light above my computer for streaming and video conferencing purposes. The adjustable clamp fits perfectly onto the post above my computer and does not move when adjusting the light on the other end. The various length options are also a great help too for when I have to move the light further along my desk away from my computer. A very durable piece of equipment that is affordable and does the same job as any other expensive brand (in fact, I'd say it's a bit better than other brands I've used).

Wobbly Desk-Mounted Monopod
I am using this to hold up a key light for streaming. Although the mounting clamp to the desk is sturdy, and the load of a key light is not very much, the stand still manages to wobble significantly. In my case of using it for a key light, this isn't very detrimental to my use case, but if you are planning to use this with a camera, don't bother. It will wobble too much. The issues seems to be where the stand is mounted to the clamp, as there is one rivet attaching the two, causing a pivot point to be made, which is what allows the stand to wobble. Overall, I'd look elsewhere for a more stable stand.

NO NEED TO PAY RIDICULOUS PRICES
The next closest price you will find here on amazon is $100+, no NEED to pay that ridiculous price. If you're using it to hold a light or even DSLR, this is more than enough. It is actually really sturdy and extremely easy to use. I use mine to hold my Sony A6400 + light on my hotswap. It is very sturdy and I am not concerned at all about its durability. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice mount for your camera or even light. I did however purchase a 1/4" swivel mount for my camera, which fit perfectly.

Boneheaded engineering....
While this seemed like a great product at first, it quickly turned out not to be... First the clamp is just not that sturdy and the frame of the clamp is starting to bend outward now that my camera has been mounted to it for a couple of days. No problem I though and got a Manfrotto Super Clamp, that will surely hold it. Well the Super Clamp arrived today, and after working the clamp around my desk a while to get it off, it turns out These geniuses decided to use a different thread size the the standard 1/4 or 3/8" found on almost every other piece of camera equipment in the world... So now I have a crappy clamp that won't attach to anything else and a seemingly decent upright extension that will connect to nothing but a crappy clamp.... I swear this industry is insane, you can pay $150 for Manfrotto arm or $11 for a similar arm from china that just doesn't work... Why is there nothing in between... I would be like trying to buy a car and you can either have a 2020 Ferrari F8 Tributo or Ford Festiva.... Some middle ground would be nice, I have nothing against Manfrotto and $150 is probably worth it if you are moving mounts frequently and repositioning it all the time. For a static mount on my desk though it's over kill...
